Comparing Lewis racing in Saudi to this feels wrong TBH bc that's way above his pay grade. If he said no to racing in Saudi Mercedes would still go, the rest of the paddock would still be going. That's on F1 as an industry Even as the goat there's a good chance you don't get signed by a top tier team if you straight up refuse to race somewhere.
no one talks abt this but OGS know in soloq it was known to always camp seraph or he will solo carry the entire game its too bad he dies to every gank i honestly thought he’d do well in lcs
The reason why so many League pros retire in their mid 20s is because they don't believe they can do well anymore. Also they have other things they want in their life. Like a relationship, a house, etc. They can easily play in their late 30s or 80s if they're like Dom, but a combination of those reasons are usually why they retire.
Age doesnt have anythign to do with how good you are at video games. Its all about priorities in your life. I have a friend who is challenger at two roles in League.. and he is 41. Meanwhile I am D1 at 48, but I have a family I care more about so I dont play as much.
i literally cannot playt league without smoking first because only then will the obscenities typed to me do not inflict damage onto my mental and i can just ignore it and focus more. I dont think the game itself is toxic, but i think that they should try to implement things to make the solo q experience a bit more like the competitive experience of lcs, i watch a lot of pro games and then when i go to play solo q it is an entirely different game, it sucks lol
I think FPS's are a little more forgiving than moba's when it comes to older players ,they are way more predictable and even tho it requires insane reaction times ,that can be mitigated by prefire the same spot since you were 7 years old and a lot of experience ,plus usually metas dont change that fast in shooters so you are not required to adapt every 3-4 weeks .I am not saying its easy to be a pro player in cs ,but i think its easier to remain at the top there than it is in league ,since experience helps a lot more in those types of games .
Seeing IWD fact-check these informative videos throughout or even getting a little more insight from him, it's pretty dope. I can't lie, I consider IWD's TheShy piece to be considered one of my favorite videos I've watched in recent time, so if IWD did take a swing at these sort of videos, it'd be game-changing as very few LoL content creators catch my eye these days.
Big agree. I feel like I am playing 1v9 in like every game. I quit playing like 3 months ago and I had previously played every season since season 1 or 2
fallen is essentially playing at the level of an lcs player if all pro players in the world played in the same league, that is top 150 to 200 player level.
How do they make this video without even attempting to interview Montecristo or Doublelift? I'm pretty sure there's clips out there of them talking about the boot camp from their perspective, Monty for sure at least.
OK its fine to react to someone elses video when you add so much, but do you really need to put THIS many adds on a video that ultimately not even yours? I legit don't think I've ever had this many adds, ever.
If Dom started making videos like these id watch. Not just for old LCS stuff which is where all the personality and storylines were but also for more recent LCK/LPL and worlds stuff that people might not know about, that would give more casual viewers and insight into the teams or players that are still competing. Its a good idea man.
I dont know why dom takes monte by his word. My explanation is just that monte is a dogshit coach and was carried by his players. Why give him the benefit of the doubt, just because he says that it wasnt his fault and that his players were not listening to him. You just need to listen to monte for 10 minutes to understand that he has no clue about league of legends.
Probably because Dom was much closer to the scene than patzers like us and knows what the player-level rumors really were as well as what Monty was actually like back then when LoL was his full-time job. Monty's relationship with the game is much different nowadays, and I would imagine his level of research and prep for stuff is way worse these days than when it was literally his job to coach those things. To me, he sounds less clueless and more outdated these days.
@egozocker14 There are plenty of examples in traditional sports and esports of people being able to coach what they can't do. It's a lot easier to have knowledge of game theory than to put it into practice when your hands are shit. Takes like this are incredibly ignorant of what the job of a coach actually entails.
@@Zharghar08 He was never above plat tho even at his peak. Could be possible for dom to be a great coach even tho he might not reach challenger anymore, because at his time dom was a great player. Monte was always dogshit at league and ALWAYS a dogshit coach. Otherwise name me some of his achievements. The only thing he is known for is having a horrible idea with the korea bootcamp and then blaming afterwards his players. Horrible human and horrible coach.
@@egozocker14 You don't need to be a good player in any sport to be a good coach. That's like saying Gregg Popovich (one of the NBA all time best coaches) has no knowledge of the game because he never suited up for the NBA. Not saying Montecristo was a good coach because I don't believe that but the point you make your argument on is full of holes.
