Less than 10 minutes into this podcast and I hear the guest essentially say "I think aliens are humanoid type things because, and I'm biased, ....." I would have immediately kicked him off. I have a theory combining this and multiverse theory. It all starts with the present. The decisions you make in the present (or those around you, since babies for instance can't make decisions), determine the many future scenarios or multiverses that are born out of the action / decision you make. And we can somehow tap into those futures of potentialities. For example, you decide when you're a child that you love to draw and want to become an artist. The love of drawing has now opened multiple potential future realities & now, because you are tapped into those futures and therefore future knowledge, it helps you along the way a bit and all of a sudden you've naturally fell into working as an artist and everything unfolded so naturally, as long as other external factors don't get in the way to prevent that (but those would birth their own future multiverses which would subject you to those same potential future realities). So in a nutshell, the things we decide to focus on and act on in the present moment, affects our potential future realities and dictates what future knowledge we now have access to. And our ability to tap into that future knowledge only helps to propel us further in the direction that we are focusing on in that present moment. In other words, persistence of action and focus on something specific could manifest that into your future reality, and at a quantum level, the more persistence and focus you have, the more likely you'll manifest it & it happens exponentially depending on amount of focus and persistence.

I don’t have a prison education, but I know when someone relies on weak arguments. When someone keeps saying “probably” over and over, it raises red flags. If you’re making a point and you’re on your second “probably,” I’m already calling it an assumption. The Hebrews living on Elephantine during this time were largely illiterate and relied on oral tradition. They wouldn’t have been writing the Exodus story down, and that argument alone is enough to challenge anyone who dismisses oral tradition without backing it up. Additionally, the Exodus story likely wouldn’t have sat well with Persian rulers, especially since Elephantine Island was a military and trading post under Persian control. The Hebrew, Egyptian, and Persian populations on the island primarily used papyrus for legal, military, and trade documents, not for preserving religious stories. So, when someone shrugs off the idea of oral tradition without offering a real counterargument, they’re missing the point. The burden of proof is on them to provide a refuting argument, not just dismiss oral tradition.
