Good to see you still have the Drag Bike. I would Love to get my Bike running again. But it looks like it might need to wait until my next life to have time for it 😅👍
If you want to step away from cloud (someone else server) your best bet would be a local NAS/storage server to store and share files. Just make sure to set up a naming scheme for folders with projects. These folders should contain files/folders for received plans/saved emails (with product changes)/CAM program/measurements from CMM (contracts should stored somewhere else).
Good to see you are still busy mate. your tooling organisation looks good, i have been trying to do someting similar for a year but can never find the time to get it done.
Well the reason I am looking into other cams in mainly i want to get away from the cloud/subscribtion/konstant updates in fusion. And I think power hill is inside fusion. Also I am already pushing my budget on esprit - power mill is more and its subscriber- esprit we buy and is ours.
@@Lonli_Val arhh sorry i read that wrong - i might have to check that out. i know about it forsure I just thought i was more for full 5 axis - and these programs gets crazy expensive for full machine simumation for 3+2
Amigo As incorporado alguna otra máquina CNC a la tienda En algún comentario te pregunté Me dijiste que un CNC husillo horizontal con cambiador de palet Podría ser en futuro
We had to many problems with the teams hub, and cloud solution - post processors dident get saved, settings dont get saved, we cant find files, we can find alot of files and dont know what to use. annd being reliable when there is network problems or something like that just hinders to much in out shop. We need a turn key solution.. Also the service from autodesk was so bad i cant even.. i like fusion 360 by inself its just the whole ecosystem that dont fit a shop like us
Hey mate - i do plan on doing an update soon - ive just been so busy with all the stuff in the shop lately. :) check out @rotarysmp livestream later today
Happy Easter to you mate. I al currently trying to find time to try out esprit. Its a whole differentiere animal but i like it from what I’ve seen and used it.
@@nikolaiownz I used Esprit 20 years ago, just the basic milling version as we didnt have any 5 axis stuff. I did like it, I dont know what it will be like now that Hexagon has purchased it. Glad to see things are keeping you hopping. The devil dances in static souls... Charles
Hey Nikolai, I asume this is the system you were talking about in Hannover.. nice improvement! My Okuma is still broken..😢 Tried to replace some capacitors on the control print today, but it didn't help. Thanks for the update!
Looks like the kind of job that's either going to just pop off and destroy the tool, dent the table and drop a side panel the SECOND the tool hits it OR hold like its welded in despite it having no right to do so 😅
@@nikolaiownz I myself am just learning to work on Mazak, I bought it for myself in the garage, at the moment, I am waiting for a person to copy the system floppy disk, when buying it turned out that it was not there... If it's not difficult for you, please take a review of how Simcoe works with Mazak in a pair, I have to do it and there is very little information with this machine...Thanks
Could you send me a video where I can see what you are doing a little bit better. I have a Okuma LB15 with the OSP5000L-G controller. Still trying to create a program and save it to memory.
@@nikolaiownz I have only used 16mm endmill in aluminium with ER collet chuck with heavy cuts, without pull out. I use Fahrion Präzision collet chucks. Aluminium is easy for holders, steel is different animal :D
