A friend from instagram asked about programming and using the old okuma - i made a video some time ago that i forgot about. I thought i might aswell upload it.
Sorry about the poor camera control.
I hope someone is getting some use of this. :)

Could you send me a video where I can see what you are doing a little bit better. I have a Okuma LB15 with the OSP5000L-G controller. Still trying to create a program and save it to memory.

I saw your Haybusa drag bike near the start right? When I was a kid, my best mates Dad had a production shop with a lot of Okumas. Both old automatic lathes and CNC at that time. My Mate earned his pocket money cleaning the shop floor twice a week, and I'd sometimes go with him and help.

I´m working on a Okuma Lu 300 with osp 200L from 2005 and this programing on okumas is always the same i love how easy it is to use, i also worked with heidenehin siemens and normal g-code but okuma OSP igf is the best in my opinion. Easy to use easy to learn

I love IGF. But I struggle abit with it in the New okuma with osp 7000. But I think its because i dont run My lathes that much anymore since i hired a guy to run them

I got the same machine for my shop a week ago. Still struggling to make it work for me but I love these old machines because they are (nearly) undestroyable and a 100% reliable even after 30 years👍

Hello. Ive been very happy with mine but its soon on the Way out of the shop. Being replaced with a new Dmg Mori lathe. What problems do you have with it ?
