I was able to replace one on my Vanhool tx dd13 did everything you did and prime my coach change the fuel lines o’rings. Now my surging went away and also my rough idle. Thank you
Thanks for the cool videos you make for us ,they are made professionly and are really a money saver for us. I have a 2020 Freightliner Cascadia with a DD15 engine auto trans with 676000 mile 13000 engine hours.I do lot of repairs myself but lately I have noticed that the engine fan is always on from the moment i start my truck in the morning to the end of the day. This truck is equipped with a viscous electric fan with no air suplies to it.I checked all the plugs and sensors they are all in place. I took it to my regular mechanic and my local Freightliner dealer and they couldn't detect the cause or any problems.I Even replaced the fan clutch myself but still the problem accured. There are no codes on my dashboard .but the engine light keep comming on , it gave me on my scanner a message ( SPN 0 /FMI = 0 Data valid but above normal operation al range -most sever level). Should I check or replace the ECM computer? What do you suggest?
Question...If, during a regen, the SCR Outlet NOx Sensor is reading say 400ppm and the SCR inlet NOx Sensor was say 300ppm...what could be the cause of that?
Most of this is completely unnecessary. Just take fuel line bolt out. Pull out by hand, drain coolant, remove bracket, remove regulator and go in reverse.
I had fault code, for nox raw...can't remember the actual spn/fmi. I ran Regen numbers looked good and both nox dew point turned green. However, nox inlet was 1650ppm and outlet 3ppm and nox conversion stayed 0.0255 thru whole test. Co worker threw inlet nox sensor. Would that be remedy to that issue.?
Question? I have a truck I put a new one box on for high doc pressure 2.548 and higher. Replaced the one box and pressure is higher than it was before replacing doc and dpf. Updated mcm,cpc etc. Any info on why I'm seeing this
Call me anal but I would continually clean as I went with brake clean fluid and I would make a plastic bung that goes in opening before I did any surface cleaning then after cleaning again with brake clean I would remove bung to drag any contamination out with it, my though is to have a bung with a little handle in centre and made to take old oring so when it's removed it wipes the bore clean, see told you I'm anal or OCD whatever
Thank you for your video. I have freightliner Columbia 2006 , 60 series and lately I am having issue with black smoke and losing power. What to do? I changed my west gate actuator, new delta sensor too. But when I disconnected the delta sensor, there is no black smoke. Once connected there come black smoke. Please , any thoughts?
Dude you’re the best! What happens when my truck throws a shit load of white exhaust and wants me to do a p regen. I will do a regen. And then I will just take off and haul ass . For about 20 miles it will smoke like crazy then all of a sudden it stop smoking and it’s fine for about 8 hours . Then I have to do it all again. I’m guessing my doser is staying stuck open or isn’t injecting fuel it’s probably dumping fuel
Could bad seals be the reason why i have to prime once i stop running the truck after about 8 hours but once I prime it I have no issue with the truck until I let it sit overnight
