Welcome to my channel, where I work on cars and show that anyone can work on their cars at home to save money. Nothing is too hard to replace if you are willing to put in the work.
I have a love for all vehicle types, classic cars, imports, exotic, to mid 80s cars that require a mullet to drive.

Cadillac CTS 2007 Will start but dies out right away after 2 seconds. All I did was install new coils and new spark plugs. YESTERDAY Before Id di this the Car ran smooth with a little mis-fire. I chose to replace all the coils and plugs. NOW I get a startup then the 2 seconds shut off?? I checked all the fuses and they seem to work? What can I do now?
What kit was this the 440 or 600 Navitas? I have a 2010 Club Cart DS that I’m looking to upgraded and I already have a lithium battery in it. I ride flat where we live no hills. I was wondering if the 600 is work it or if the 440 is plenty good
I enjoyed your video, but I think they’re called Heim joints not Hyman joints. (Ask your wife) I almost spilled my coffee when you said thanks for the video.
Is there a simple way to install 3 point rear seatbelts instead of those junk lapbelts? And from which year 3gens were factory equipped with 3 point rear seatbelts?
Great video! My 2016 with 90,000 miles do I need to replace just the thermostat or the whole housing as well? I have no codes or nothing wrong with it. I'm just doing a flush, so I thought might as well replace it.
@@poundermonster they say the water pump goes out 70-100k. You can replace it as preventative maintenance, really your call, it’s the electronics that mess up on it when it goes, it stays running and kills your battery when the water pump starts to go,
I changed my wiper motor (same model) along with the module attached to it. (cheaper) I’ve been having a couple of issues, the wipers start when I start the car, then stop again after a couple times. When they do stop it’s not at the bottom of the windshield. (but every so often it does) I reset the motor before I put the arms on like your supposed to but most of the time it doesn’t work correctly, any idea what I can do about this?
Thank you for this video! I didn’t have a tool to use so I bent the end of a slim screwdriver just enough to finesse the latch open. I have currently rigged it with a zip tie around the latch piece to be able to open and close it until I get the replacement part. 67y.o. Female
I just want to thank you for posting this!! I have a 2011 Kia soul and after getting my windshield replaced, a week later the pillar flew off on the highway. I am looking forward to replacing it myself now after you made it look so easy.
Thats a lot pf cutting lol Here's a suggestion, do you know the rubber trim they sell for car doors? I believe its so you don't put a dent on the edge of the door if you hit something while opening? I think that will improve the look.
With any GM vehicle including my '03 CTS I can always hear the fuel pump turn on briefly to prime the line when I turn the key on but do not go to crank. The engine computer must be powered down between attempts as it will not prime the line a 2nd time if the computer did not shut down. A fuel line pressure gauge does not cost much and is easier than pulling fuel line off the filter. The first time or few times the fuel pump fails to run you may coax it into turning on by tapping the fuel tank from underneath so motor will move just a little so it will start running so you can get home. Sooner or later this will not work. You need to put downward pressure on the pump to twist the ring on or off due to pressure of o-ring pushing up and keeping the ring locked. Put a wood block on the pump on flat area and have your assistant step on the block. Then a hammer and bar can be used to spin it off. Another channel showed that a relay my click but may be defective. Their defective relay did not sound the same as a good relay when each clicked. One can swap relay or temporarily run a jumper wire across it while diagnosing the issue. I used a cutting wheel on a Dremel. One has to be very careful to not cut into the plastic fuel tank just below the steel.
@@fishfire_2999 Angle grinder would be faster but larger wheel may have made precision cut harder. The Dremel cutting wheels I used cut it fast enough for me. Even with care I cut into the tank in 2 locations about 1/16 of an inch--not deep enough to cause an issue. I am not sure I could hold angle grinder carefully enough to avoid deeper damage. I would use Dremel again if needed.
@@raykettel1837 Yah makes sense I have both still trouble shooting my 06 st wouldn't start leaving work Fri was running great hopefully just purge valve something easy usually not that lucky ,thanks for responding ✌️
@@fishfire_2999 A fuel pump that does not turn on may turn on if one taps the fuel tank to move the motor enough to get it to spin even with failing windings. That won't work eventually. If car stalls after it warms up or won't start until some delay in time it could be the crank sensor. A bad crank sensor will set one or two diagnostic trouble codes and turn on the check engine light. A bad fuel pump won't set any codes or turn on check engine like. A local auto parts store will likely read codes out for free or one can buy a tool to read out codes. Tool may also read RPM and fuel pump commanded state--off or one. Fuel pump relays can also fail. There are 2 or three other relays in the fuse box near fuel part that use the same part number. One relay is for interior lights so one code swap those two relays to test. Relays normally fail and do not later go back to working state. One can temporarily remove relay and use a jumper wire diagonally across connections in fuse box to test. Diagram of pinout is on the relay. I had to use a magnifying glass to be able to read the pin number labels on the bottom of the relay.
@@raykettel1837Wow that's a lot of info appreciated,so in my case I bought a can of starting fluid sprayed it in intake while my wife cranked it over after about 30 sec of this the car stayed running drove it home ran fine shut it off got home wouldn't start ,haven't had chance look into it yet but thinking might be the purge valve 👍
