Hi! I'm Holly and I love to make cold process soap! We recently moved away from Missouri to my home state of Montana. We've built a new workshop and are in the process of building cabin.
So beautiful Holly love the colours and i can see a ribbon in one piece. What sort of berry is a huckleberry ,is it a blueberries Thank you for sharing 😊xx
This is my fave colourway you’ve done! I don’t know huckleberries, we have Saskatoon/Service/June berries here. My husband is from BC and grew up on huckleberries, though, and prefers them.
I'm getting Scooby Doo vibes on these colours! Not quite sure on a Huckleberry what colour they are or even what it smells or tastes like. From the soap it would be something I'd sure like to try!
That's so fun! Huckleberries are very similar to blueberries. Often blueberries are added to huckleberry desserts just because the huckleberries are expensive/hard to get. But they are still their own berry and they smell so, so good!
You've sure captured the essence of huckleberries! Pink for the unripe, purples for the ripe ones and cheerful green leaves. Love it!! Love taking the open ski lift up Big Mountain and picking hucks on the hike down😊. Favorite huck shake place- Huckleberry Patch in Hungry Horse (also favorite huck lip balm from there). You're making me hungry haha!!
Thank you so much Jennifer! We love the Huckleberry Patch too. They are remodeling/adding on and it's been closed every time we have gone by so far this year. I love the Huckleberry milkshakes at Richwines in Polson too. I can't actually drink them because of the sugar content but I steal a sip from my son's on occasion. 😉 I have yet to see any real huckleberries in the woods. It's definitely going to be a goal to find some someday.
@@moriversoap ooo! I'll check them out! We'll be there in September. The best time to pick hucks is the second half of July. Big Mountain is covered in them and it's free to pick. They freeze well too, just toss em in a bag into the freezer. My brother was out in March and they said that Huckleberry Patch was closed then too, they were disappointed! Hoping they'll be back open soon, but yes, they definitely needed to do some remodeling there😊
YAY so many videos in the past few days!!!! I was dreading work tomorrow, but now I can relax and watch one of your fabulous videos and forget about it for a little bit!!!! xxx
Good Morning Holly, yes I am here for moral support, and beautiful. I sooo love the mountains. I ❤ that it is different, it’s you…it’s us. Thank you for being inspiring, blessed week and see you next time. Cheers☕️
Love unscented soap expecially coffee .just a hint of the scent is lovely .it looks like a cofee and cream cake delicious.Thank you for sharing this beautiful soap Holly 😊xx
When you say those words....Kalispell, Flathead Valley, coffee.. .I miss my second home and my family so much!! My favorite coffee in the valley is from Montana Coffee Traders, their Huckleberry Coffee....I buy the whole bean and grind it. There's nothing like enjoying a cup of it on Dad's front porch in the morning and enjoying the view of the mountains across from him. Also pine trees in the sun...hard to beat the scent of that❤. Thank you for bringing all that together this morning!!
Awe, I know what it's like to miss this place. It would be more so with family here. I do love some Montana Coffee Traders Huckleberry! It's so good! I am going to have to try grinding the beans sometimes. I bet that's even better. I can't really have syrups and sugar but when I want to splurge a little, a freshly made extra shot Huckleberry coffee from MCT is so delicious! We would go there more but it's a location and hours thing for us. Copper Mountain is headquartered in Kalispell across from UPS but I thought they had started in Libby. Some research says the band was started in Troy. So I really don't know. HA!
Oh wow! She's living the dream! I found that our cat only really likes/can eat the pate too. She's not really lost many teeth but I don't think she can chew well anymore.
Love it so much! I'm a big fan of no added scent soaps that simply end up smelling like their ingredients, even if it's very light. Also I talk back to you when I watch. LOL! When you switched up the pour to a side to side did you hear me say, "ya do that!" Aren't I so helpful? 🤣😂🤣😂
I have to deal with cat hair in my crocheting as well. Also have to deal with my hair since it is now long again. I know you can't wash the Mabels but I always wash my blankets before they go to their new homes.
Hi Holly... i would love watching a video showing us how you make Mable...pleaseeee❤❤❤ I dont do crochet.. and I live in Malaysia.. 😢😢😢 how can i buy from you?
I know you're not thrilled with the mint green tissue, but it was very summery! My 5 yo grandson was visiting when my soap package came, and he loved smelling the goodness that was inside!
Holly, this is wonderful! I just love these new scrubs, and the piping with alternating colors is just gorgeous! This is something quite esthetically pleasing to women. I can see where it would be a popular bath and body product.
I've enjoyed this video, emensly! Thank you so very much for the different sections. Also, I've ordered the new products you mentioned in the video. I missed out on the whipped salt scrub.😢 I'm hoping you'll make some more. I love your videos and your products. Thanks....
This Dec 10 will 2 years since my oldest son passed away from an upper respiratory infection and complications with his dialysis treatment. Then in May 2023 we lost our female longhair miniature dachshund Sugarfoot when she passed away in her sleep on May 31. Then in Dec 2023 we lost our male longhair miniature dachshund Gunner's Coal when he passed away in the early morning hours of Dec16. Just 6 days after the 1 year anniversary of my son's passing, I have been grieving all three, so I have not been doing any knitting or sewing.
Loved this video the most. It’s so wonderful to see the soaps, the scenery and updates on the cabin. Would love to see more like these videos. Good luck on everything. As a soap maker I know it’s a lot of work doing this kind of video, but it’s so worth seeing it.
