I was born in a battlefield, my mum and my dad, people treat me with suspicion, i don't know if i'm happy or if i'm sad anymore. Mercedes Benz and necklaces have long been divided and he needs a personal license plate and she needs a new man to hold, And everybody's wondering whats going wrong, with all their daughters and with all their sons, but if they look at themselves just once in a while, well if they look at themselves, they wouldn't wonder why, anymore. those sleepless nights of childhood all those lying, all the fighting i am living on my own so long its almost been forgotten but not quiet, And everybody's wondering whats going wrong, with all their daughters and with all their sons, but if they look at themselves just once in a while, well if they look at themselves, they wouldn't wonder why, anymore.
I didn’t even know this existed, I just searched John Frusciante Nights in White Satin, as I could just see him singing it. Agree so much that it’s a John song to sing. Maybe one day we’ll get to hear him cover it
@Roger Salmerón It is. The song is also on Glenn Hughes' album "Music for the divine" that was released in 2006. John Frusciante plays on two tracks, Nights in white satin and This is how I feel. Chad Smith plays drums on the entire record that was recorded at his home.
Stunning! All Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer women & their families thank you for what you donated for their Vacations Away From Cancer. You are an angel of Grace!
I'm almost positive he's in the mix on the backing vocals though......the first AHHHhhhhh I don't hear him the first couple but then he comes in. Plus right after 3 min he's doing both. I mean come on, would John Frusciante do a song only to NOT do the second-most thing he's known and admired for, making angelic AHHHH noises?! I think not.
This song is clearly about divorse and how the couple's children feel, how it affects them and how their parents' fights changes them. Divorsed parents often look to their children and don't understand why they've became different, however they never "look at themselves" and wonder how their kid felt listening and witnessing the fights and arguments over all the years. I love this song.
I´d wish her mother understood that Maria, she doesn´t seem to care, she´s so selfish, I love my daughters, I cry many times because I know she´s sad, she´s different now...
