I am a fan of BL shows and movies, especially those produced in Thailand. Thailand has been the standard to which other countries must rise to meet, and I believe that the BL industry, while producing entertaining show, is also a great advocate for LGBTQ rights. I also congratulate Thailand for passing marriage equality. I know that actors portray characters on screen that are different from their real personal lives, yet it is disappointing nonetheless to learn that a favorite BL actor is straight. As a gay man myself, I would prefer that BL actors playing a gay role were actually gay themselves. An Asian doesn’t want a white person playing them in a Hollywood movie. It’s called appropriation. Likewise, many straight actors in the BL industry are using us as a stepping stone into “straight” roles. I’m sure there are many talented gay actors who could easily work in the BL industry. They deserve first shot at gay roles over a straight actor - especially a gay actor who may have homophobic feelings. We must remember, however, actors play a role that is separate from their private lives. Enjoy their shows and movies, but don’t live vicariously through them.

Problem is they are actors and companies put pressure on them to look a way they think the fans like but it’s really suppress the actor and the actors have to weigh out what worth the money or being happy. They should have cart blanch on their private life and fans should back off as mental health is real.
The companies and the performers ( maybe paid) contribute to promoting the notion of a relationship. The one is surprised that fans are upset that the relationship is not real.

I have read & watched many clips regarding various BL actors & the issues. What strikes me is that the fan base appears quite powerful & outspoken at times - hence the apologies from some actors. Thailand 🇹🇭 BL fans base is huge judging by the reactions to interviews we see& can possibly make or break an actor’s reputation!!!
I’m interested to see what Perth and Santa will be like together, although it will be a little sad to see Santa paired with someone other than Cooheart. I love AouBoom but they definitely need main roles at this point and not to be the 2nd/3rd/4th pairing in a show anymore lol. I remember following BothNewyear and PorscheArm since they first came out as a couple. When i heard of the engagement and the equality act being confirmed in thailand, i felt estatic for them. Im happy for Santa and Perth.
My thing is why do people care whose celebrities date. It's nobody's business. What the actor's sexuality is? It doesn't matter who they're CP. Whisk on screen. It doesn't matter who they date. Or who they're just friends with? Nobody needs to know but also people don't have to come out. You can speculate about people's sexuality but there's a time in the place for everything, and these are people's actual lives that. Others are messing with and they should respect bouncies in their privacy and stop judging and sending them hate for whoever's interacting with them or whoever they decide to date
How is it disrespectful and insensitive to show that you're friends with people you've worked with before? And who in their right frame of mind would think that Singto would mind even for a second??? He's a professional actor, they all are. What's insensitive and disrespectful is demanding that actors pretend to not care about their friends (or exes, as it were). It's possible to be close to more than one person, you know? And anyone who really cared about their idols should be happy for them that they have close and meaningful friendships. It's just "fans" getting caught up in their own fantasies and then getting angry when reality doesn't work like it does in their deluded little minds. I personally think it's good when BL actors decide to not stay in one single BL CP but change their work partners. Maybe this will lead to a healthier work climate for BL actors in the future. First of all real fans of these actors will not, I repeat will not be back lashing their favorite actors. Who, would do this, haters. That’s who. These professionals are human. If they are dating who cares. And if the producers of this dramas allow these so called fans to harass their artists, their managers need to hit the so called fans with a law suit. Why do the actors have to apologize for being human ? Makes no sense to me.
