Welcome to the Ableton family I use Ableton Live 11 and Maschine 2 from Native Instruments because I use Native Instrument MIDI controllers, the Kontrol MK2 S61 and the Maschine MK3. I tried FL studio fror a bit but it seemed reall busy on the screen at the time about two years ago. I'm on a PC so I can't use Logic Pro at the moment but you are right when you say many House producers use both Logic Pro, and Ableton. F9 uses bothe exstensivly and produce for ALL DAW's but it seems they prefer those two. Thanks for the insites
i changed two years ago to ableton11 and then to 12. with ableton my workflow is much better, musicmaking makes more fun for me the piano roll is better in fl and there where also some synthies in fl i liked very much. there is a way to use them in ableton too but i couldnt manage it yet i bought the live 11 used and it costed me 350 euro and the update to 12 was about 150, so i got it much cheaper
Ableton is definitely worth every penny🤞…not very different from other DAWs, auto quantises live instruments into the BPM of the project you’re currently working on…and besides everything ableton is just beautiful😅

Thank you for sharing this X. I have been meaning to ask how you feel about Logic as compared to FL studio because i use Reason and i have been trying to decide what to move to between FL Studio & Logic but honestly, i am sold in terms of Logic. It just has so much more in terms of quality stock sounds and the workflow just seems so simple and straightforward.
They are both good DAWs and like you said Logic Has great stock plugin sounds and free loops that will help you get going fast without downloading from too many sites.
I'm about to subscribe. You, young Sir are inspiring in your approach. I first stumbled onto your "FL Studio to Logic Pro" migration upload, and my only criticism wiuld be to minimize repetitiveness but this here upload kept me engaged. Keep it up! Thanks for this, from outside Philadelphia, PA. -Mr. Pete
This was so fun to follow along with and turned out fire!!! i grew up playing classical piano but always longed to make house and techno. i'm a logic noob, so thank you for posting this, i learnt a lot just watching!

big ups brotha, you should maybe go a little bit more into detail on how you do certain modifications to instruments and actually show the instruments you use. big fan!!!

@XDizzleMusic because you can't do everything in 1 daw and fl has its own work flow that doesn't meet with standards of other daws it's kind of a joke to use FL for everything lol
lol i use 5 daws facts Logic pro x, ableton live , reasons, studio one and MPC software oh yeah and luna so thats 6 lol facts and i know how to use them all 🤣
I go back and forth between Reaper and Sibelius (DAW / Notation combination) ; mainly compose in Sibelius and export midi to Reaper to render audio with VSTs, and/or record midi/audio in Reaper and notate in Sibelius then export data back to Reaper or whatever works really. Mix in Reaper, master in Cakewalk... so I reckon I use 3
@@XDizzleMusic I tend not to go by genre, but my choice of instruments is mainly orchestral so classical may be the closest thing. I also play several instruments and enjoy a more common drum/bass/guitar type thing, and a combination of both approaches tends to be a rather poetic spectrum. Most of what I create might be considered esoteric.
I make electronic music with some splash of guitar here and there. To me FL Studio has any sound I want because of the synths like Harmor for example. They are all pretty good. Automation is easy if you use native plugins. You can use thirth party plugins and automate but it's not as easy. But as far as I am concerned I never have to use thirth party plugins. I don't write symphony. Who knows. Maybe than I will need some. But until than I am good.
I use FL Studio and sometimes Mixcraft. I almost left FL Studio years ago but I obviously didn't. I tried but when I go to another DAW I am expecting certain things to work like in FL. So I just stuck with it and I have no intention to leave it any time soon.
I use Reason 12 to make most beats, great quality I must say. I use FL studio sometimes, which is genre- specific, eg Amapiano, however I finalise everything in Logic Pro, including recording vocals, its workflow is fantastic when recording vocals.
@OrganicTone-gh1wv bro, sometimes the grass is not always greener. Logic has its downside. I would recommend that you keep using both. One thing I can mention about DAWs is that once you master how it works and you find ways of improving your workflow, you can produce work of great quality, its all about mastering how it works and use it to its full potential.
@@mducele001 Thank you so much for the advice Bro, you are 100% spot on and It would be nice to see how you are using Reason and get to learn from you.
Da Vinci used colour packs too.. LOL The best tool for chords is your brain. It is more powerful than you think. Learn basic diatonic music theory.. 12 Notes. 4 Chords. It will make you unstoppable.
