There's an excuse for it again just like the opiate epidemic money that West Virginia received but West Virginia residents didn't get no relief from that 0 same thing with your funding for housing but yet Jim Justice can go f****** build greatly telescopes to try to hear aliens right
Hello, I am 17 years old, almost the same age Rachel and Shelia were when they committed the crime. I am aware that their actions were atrocious, that they destroyed a family, and took the life of a completely innocent girl. I empathize deeply with Skylar's parents. However, I feel that if for some reason I found myself in a situation where I was being manipulated by a friend to take someone else's life at 16 or 17, and then faced consequences later, I would feel terrible. My frontal lobe isn't even fully developed yet.I believe that denying Rachel parole would only worsen the situation. We must not forget the age of these girls when they committed this terrible crime. The adolescent brain is still developing, and young people are more susceptible to peer pressure and poor decision-making. Rachel has had time to reflect on her actions and has likely grown and changed significantly during her time in prison. Granting her parole could offer her a chance to reintegrate into society and demonstrate that she has learned from her mistakes. It would also show that our justice system recognizes the potential for rehabilitation and change, even in those who have committed serious offenses at a young age. Continuing to punish her without acknowledging her growth could be seen as unjust and counterproductive.
Her brain is fully developed to understand and know the difference between right and wrong. They planned the murder and went to great lengths to try to cover it up and lied over and over. That’s how the law works and psychiatrists will tell you that too. She needs to do her full 30yrs. She still causes trouble in prison as an adult and can’t follow the rules in prison. Her parole was DENIED!!! RIP Skylar🙏❤️💜
I love how they say "Gender affirming care" when discussing mutilating someone and changing them to a Gender that we can affirm they were not born as... but not when discussing reproductive rights of actual women and men.... Like shouldn't Gender AFFIRMING care be for people who are Actually men or women but need some kind of health intervention relating their biological and reproductive needs as a women/man?
The ignorance in this comment thread is vile. Shame on all of you . God loves all of his creatures . Enough with the “protect the children “ horseshit. Until you all do something about gun control, the number one killer of children, just sit down. God forbid you have ANY compassion for what these parents go through. The stress and fear? Instead you judge and berate things you don’t understand. And you make targets of the weakest among us. PATHETIC
It's amazing what they push under the guise of " It's good for you" Transgenders have higher suicide rates even if they go thru "treatment " Europe has already been down this road and agree it's an adult decision.
Remember when an adult pretending to be something other than what they are was considered a sign of mental illness or emotional distress? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
Two female family members left separate colleges as gay. They both are now straight and have children! Imagine if they were further pressured to make changes to their bodies and at taxpayer expense, scary!
My brother knew at the age of 3 in pre-kindergarten that he wasn't like other boys. He grew up in a very religious household and had no outside influence to come to this understanding within himself. Yet, today he is married to a man. Denying a persons reality doesnt make them not exist. Evil seeks to oppress and destroy, while goodness is merciful and humble to seek understanding.
Was he never allowed to go through puberty? Arguably the most significant physical and emotional transformation a human goes through besides birth and death. Does he still have a penis? Simply being gay is a far cry from transgenderism
