Yeah, Ubuntu 24.04 ships Python 3.12.3 (while 22.04 ships Python 3.10.6, as you said). A minor version bump like that doesn't seem like it should be a huge deal, but then again, I'm not primarily a Python developer. I will say that staying on an older OS version just for the Python version it ships seems a little overkill and certainly unsustainable over the long term. If you really need to stick with one specific version of Python, you might eventually want to look into solutions like Docker/Podman containers or at least Distrobox to let you run Python 3.10 in an Ubuntu 22.04 environment from a newer OS version (or any other OS entirely).
Didn't you say you went to school to learn to manage these things? Yet, you're google'ing how to access a serial console ("minicom", procomm or hyperterm for windows people), and struggling to understand how simple ROMMON is, or that these simple, tiny boxes do not have "bootflash". I want to reach through the screen (back through time) and strangle you! Take some time off camera to familiarize yourself with the toys you want to show off, without wasting 1.5hrs immortalizing bad a "nerd" you can be. Don't know how to access a serial device. Don't know how to use screen. Pathologically unable to understand screen run as root ("sudo") is not the same as screen run as _any other user!_ (the problem is not linux, it's _you_ attaching multiple processes to the serial port, because screen is not a terminal program and does not lock the port for exclusive access)
Thanks for this super helpful video. I just purchased these speakers and at first it seemed like your video might be for techies but you pack in a lot of good information. Even though I don't know the science behind this technology I was able to follow most of it. At first I just wanted to know how to connect them as nobody else was showing that very clearly. But I got so much more out of this. Your tips about the speaker wires are great. No other video mentioned the holes in the connectors that the wires need to be threaded through to secure them -- really important. And appreciated your concluding followup remarks after testing them for a couple weeks. Yours is the most comprehensive review of all that's out there. Really valuable for anyone considering buying these speakers. I'm seeing that just last month, Audioengine finally posted a video showing how to set them up. It's only a couple minutes long so doesn't provide the detail and tips you do. I recommend watching both but for anyone wanting a good understanding of these speakers, this video is great.
The only problem I have with Librewolf over Brave is that Spotify seems very buggy on LibreWolf, and the devs cannot actually fix that but, where Brave works just fine.
I just ordered mine from logitech and I kind of need it fast since my old mouse failed as well. How long did it take for yours to arrive from when you ordered?
Nice review for 3S unboxing. Please, can you say to me where I can find solar software (which you used). Thanks in advance. P. S. I find it, but it is for Linux OS. I am on Windows 10.
This program is no longer only for Linux! Github user anthwlock has a github page with a version that is a straight up Windows .exe with a GUI and everything! Super easy to download and use! fixed my truncated video flawlessly! Thanks for posting this, you put me on the right path to help me save my recording!
Greetings. I'm a ZFS admin. I manage several large pods, each with 45 to 60 drives-almost 2 PiB in total in one location. Great video. The only thing I wish you would elaborate on is the proper ratio between a number of the VDevs and the hard drives count to get the "sweet spot" in regards to efficiency. Cheers 🙂
When I try to INSERT a TABLE (number of rows, columns etc, ) what I get in the area where the cells should be is a solid gray 'block' in my document. What am I doing wrong?
Thank you for this video. I have a quick question. Can own cast stream a video directly using an RTSP url from an IP camera? If so, I could totally bypass having to use OBS. My project is to help a non profit org stream a nature IP camera they have at their park to the web. Thanks again.
I looked into this a little-- based on what I see on the Owncast GitHub page, it requires an RTMP input, not RTSP. There are other options for converting RTSP to RTMP (one's called MediaMTX) that may be simpler to run long-term than OBS.
Great tutorial, I am getting "Error: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002]" trying to use PDO, everything works because I can connect to the database using workbench with the same PEM files.
When I was young and first tired Linux I remember getting really frustrated because I couldn’t install anything. I remembered later that I was trying to install stuff from source.. haha yeah good luck brand new Linux child. I’ve been getting interested with compiling software lately since I’ve been reading on different Linux distros and how some compile most software and I haven’t really done it very much in my Linux life. So many things seem to use Linux now than way back.. Wonderful info and video sir. Super subbed.
17:27 bless you for figuring out that… it would’ve bothered me until the end of time… I’d have to recreate this entire thing in a vm just to go to sleep tonight.
I was looking for a good video on Ansible and you explained the setup so well with helpful anecdotes...I look forward to checking out your other videos.
Hey, you are a NERD actually I only have about 3 years of experience with the computer itself and programing the same so I could only understand the 60% of the video! but i am sure If i watch it again I will atleast be make the server which will be sending the stream but IDK about the videoJs how that will work IDK

why idk but i cant chain multiple routers together, there is any tip or tutorial for this? than you.
your literally the only person on the www that is giving instructions. Every other content provider is simply discussing owncast. not teaching. THANK YOU. I should have watched this video long ago.
