We don't get streak bonuses in this market however everything else that he is saying is true. You should know exactly where and when surges are going to happen every day. For example on Mondays if there are regular surges that happened between 7:00 and 8:00 then you know that every Monday it's going to Surge at that same place between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m.
That is incorrect. When you drive 12 hours with Lyft, you have to take a 6-hour break. So if you start at 5 am (when the day starts with Lyft) and drive until 5 pm, that's 12 hours. After a 6-hour break, it will be 11 pm, and you can drive 6 more hours until 4:59 am. That means you can drive a maximum of 18 hours a day! (Though not recommended I have done it before). Subscribe! You just learned something new 😅
I just got an email from Uber saying they noticed I turned off request after accepting uber x share rides and that is somehow against their community guidelines smh.
If I got a Tesla, I would only drive in a certain area and be able to charge at home without being out of my area. Those people that do that full-time and they pull more money than I do.
It works and has been working for me. I'm in San Francisco area. I'm working on being more disciplined and hitting those ride numbers. I don't do airport it take too long... Facts about quitting early, I love your videos! Thank you!
❤❤❤Great content Brother Tristen. I have been using stride and Gridewise for almost 9 years! Stay Blessed and strong 💪💪💪 on your journey through the "matrix"!
When I first started the gig economy it was 3 months before the lock down. I was making $1500 a week doing doordash. Then the lock down happened and I was making $100 per hour. Now I'm struggling to make $300 a week across UberEats,Grubhub, and Roadie. It's unsustainable at this point and I'm looking for regular 9-5 job. It's just not worth it anymore. I miss those days during the lockdown $1500 per 15 hr shift.
I just really wanna know it’s it just a despot or more when you get there? I’m from Chicago and Uber did that to me in 2022 like hidden fees. Pls can somebody lmk I appreciate it
I do not like driving for LYFT. LYFT advertises $8 bonus every ride everywhere. When you stop driving and notice your bonus has not been added. You contact LYFT to inquire about your bonus payment they act as though they cannot see the bonus on your account. They say you are outside the zone and bonus hour. No one would accept low balling rides with no bonus. I have been driving for over 6 hours and I haven't even made $100! This is poverty and I will be letting other drivers know about this!
Cvt transmissions on the Prius are notorious for breaking down on used cars and replacing one of these would be 5,000 so you might want to price this into the comparison.
Im absolutely killing it on my model 3, bought for 17k avg 200+ a day weekdays not even working 10 hours hit over 300+ Fri - Sat and with recharge at around 15$ this will 4x my investment maybe even more assuming the battery lasts to 200k miles
This is really dependent on the state and city you live in basically the market you working. I can tell you for a fact that lift would offer these bonuses as well as a streak bonuses but here is the problem I encountered... location filter was not offered as an option ever in Albuquerque New Mexico, when you're working a certain Zone to get that streak you have to do all three rides in that zone so you get one ride and you think you're off to a good start then the second ride they offer you takes you out of the zone and breaks the freaking streak, this is deliberate and if you cancel that ride to stay in the zone then that also breaks your streak so the bonus is immediately gone and nullified and this is just a BS game buy lift the Trap you and draw you in so you work the market the way they want you to work it and you get a 2 and 3 and 4 dollar ride? We are paying for vehicles, we are paying for gas oil tires brakes and we make car payments insurance payments cell phone payments and some of us have extended warranties to cover major repairs. It's possible this guy just made this video to make money off of RU-vid and if you did good for him it's a clever way to use the lift platform in a different medium to make some money. Guys these companies are making hundreds of billions of dollars off of our back our vehicles off of the money we spend and the blood and sweat we pour out to pay our bills and pay for their Fleet we are the fleet for Uber and Lyft this needs to make it to legislation and there needs to be laws governing how this gig companies operate and work with us instead of use us and exploit us and that's only going to happen if we come together and work together as one unified body and that's what makes the unity of many people working towards one goal so beautiful and that is the heart and spirit of America I find it interesting that England and Australia are kind of ahead of us in telling these gig companies what they can and cannot do and they have shut them down and made it impossible for them to continue exploiting their citizens as drivers also this is a state by state thing in the United States where some states are winning victories and holding Uber and Lyft accountable and winning a lot of Victories against Uber getting 35 to 38 an hour plus they make their tips plus mileage. We must find this unity in each Rideshare community in every single market across the United states. If anybody is interested in learning more about this or becoming their own Co-op of Rideshare drivers to challenge the market that they are in please call me at 984-800-6944. Denver Colorado has already done this things will change for us and get better if we make the changes me and we make things get better but only if we make it happen by working together through communication organization I'm supporting each other making a plan and sticking to it. Call me and ask for the Rideshare Red White and Blue
So I kept watching and I see his strategy, but he isn't renting a car from Lyft and going offline is possible when you aren't paying for "personal miles". If you rent, you never want to go offline while driving their car as you have to pay for those miles. Lyft really needs to get rid of those personal miles.
How did he work 12 hours and 54 minutes? The max is 12 hours. We could all achieve more if we were allowed to drive unlimited hours a day, but the max is 12 hours. And the hours add up until a 6 hour break is taken. So even if you drive for say, 6 hours and take a 3 hour break, Lyft still keeps the tab running and stops your ability to give rides when your time gets to 12 hours. I know because I've reached 12 hours several times in the last couple of weeks. You cannot give any more rides with Lyft. If you are also signed up with Uber, you could probably keep giving rides, but it would become dangerous at that point due to utter exhaustion.
Good video, but the only thing I find kind of wrong is the insurance quote comparison. You would be adding the tesla to your existing policy, which could result in a lower monthly depending on your estimated miles. I currently have 3 vehicles on my policy, when doing single quotes they all were above $150/month each. However under the same policy the total $201 for three vehicles. I'm on the fence for a Model 3 or Model Y, especially with the current incentives making a new model y cheaper than a model 3.
I was deactivated for a few days when a passenger on one of the two rideshare driver platforms I use reported: “The driver’s car was rusty and unsafe.” It’s true I have a small spot of rust on one fender, it was on the car when I purchased it. It’s not true there is visible rust anywhere else on the car and my car is 100% safe. It did take three days of back and forth with the rideshare company’s support organization to get reactivated. I had to be persistent while being polite and professional and their were multiple opportunities for me to get side-tracked based on some of the responses I received from support but I stayed focused on my goal of being reactivated and yet no good news luckily I saw a review about and expert I searched and sent him a dm to get me reactivated and I’m happy I’m back on the road. At the top of my comment you’ll see the name and where to contact him . ..
You might have more opportunities than I do to generate points. I can only generate points 4 days out of the week. 2 of those days are from 3pm - 6 pm, Friday is from 6 pm until 2 am and Saturday is from 10 am until 2 am. What does your range look like?
1. I'm not advertising for Lyft. I'm advertising a method for people to improve their financial situations. I don't care about Lyft; I care about the drivers. 2. Stop using the term slaves so lightly. You are free to stop doing Lyft whenever you want, and if you're not free to stop doing Lyft, it's because you're a "slave" to your financial situation.
