Repairing, parting out and exploring John Deere lawn mowers Disclaimer: MY VIDEOS ARE FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY I am not responsible for any injuries occurred to anyone at any time
What did you have to do to make this work? I have a gx345 and would love to put a 2 stage on it. I have never seen one of the blowers in person so not sure how hard it would be to make work. Thanks.
I learned there is so much crud built up on the shafts after years of use. Can't really see it. I run the shafts on a wire wheel of the grinder to remove that crud. Then the shafts will slide in fairly easy. Wire wheel should not damage those shafts they are hard metal.
You need to take the engine apart first to see what other damage there is. It most likely took out the governor, water pump gear and oil pump gear. I've also seen pushrods bent. I would look online for parts of go to your dealer.
Do you have "good" repair videos? Where you actually show the removal process of EVERYTHING bolt by bolt removal and replacement? Nost videis on youtube they talk it to drath and don't know how to put the camera on the job, no lights in dark places and when they run into a toygh.job if actually doing something, they show nothing and leave the viewer wondering HOW THEY DID IT!!! IF you want viewers, make GOOD VIDEOS, And remember, you are not acting in a movie, we don't need to hear you doing thr weather, the news the movies or discussing how you had to go to lunch or why your shirt got dirty or torn or how much beer you have to drink to work on a miwer! Just cut the camera off whenbyou have nothing to say and turn it back on when you are telling sonething we NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YHE JOB!! RU-vid MECHANICS ARE JUST GETTING STUPID, NOT DOING THE JOB TO.HELP OTHERS KNOW HOW! which is the real point! Good luck!
hate to disagree but you are wrong about all onan engines have points in that location i have a points onan engine in a case garden tractor and my points are lower on back of engine
Very informative video and learn a lot from it. Are you up for a collaboration? Hipa supplies parts for small engines and maybe we would work together to help more people in the community.
This is a common problem with terminal when the battery is bad and system is overheating and overcharging This system is not built to charge up a bad battery folks 😮😮😮
I get a lot of mowers from JD dealership to fix because of the price and most importantly people don’t think they are mechanics just parts replacing 😢😢😢 I’m shocked at the price they tell them 😢😢😢
I have .03 ohms on both AC terminals and no short to ground is .03 acceptable for this stator or should i try and find a replacement while j have it apart to fix a oil leak
i got 345 kawasaki. it has been standing for months. now can't start it. It idle, and only starts when i pour petrol into air intake. I removed the fuel pump, there was a bit of orangy color of water, cleaned it, flushed with petrol, installed back but still no change. Could it be carburetor? should i replace the fuel pump to new one? pls help :(
Would truly liked to have known what actually was the problem . Doesn't appear to be the bottom end . So far , still looks like a salvagable expensive high quality LC Kawasaki engine .
the carriage bolts usually spin when i try to remove them , causing me to have to grind them off . i've found that they almost always will hold if you tighten till they wring off . requires new bolts , but faster/easier . also, you can grind the outside of an old bearing down , and use it as a bearing driver . use eye/hand protection , as they can shatter .
Now that's an interesting and informative video. I've never worked on one of those. Most of the stuff I work on is MTD regardless of the name on the machine. Thank you for sharing your time and experience 😊
Got one for free form a gentleman last week said kt wasn't running. Idler pulley bplt was broken off kn the arm so had to anlgle grinder it n changed it wit new belts n oil n filter. Started up n drive but shuts down at times. Do you think the corb the reason?
Hey i saw your ad on Facebook and I don't have a Facebook and was curious if you had any 140 h3 sitting around. I need a couple of parts for one were taken off mine for some reason
Head gaskets are a problem with that 460. The bolts loosen up, the bottom three nuts almost removed by hand. I can't believe this guy didn't remove the front baffle cover to tighten the head bolts and nuts. Intake valve seats are known to fall out of the model. Intake valves are known to stick also. Ask me how I know?
