Very naive Paul, you are following the herd. Marathe has undoubtedly made errors , not renegotiating Rutters contract to at least increase the release clause for one. Reserve your judgement until 1st September. Bad boys act in silence. Should they have advertised these release clauses, should we publicise our targets, should we break PSR, should we pay over the odds with our limited budget?
Unquestionably a long list of departures over the summer. Rats fleeing a sinking ship, I suppose. That the weak crew collapsed, and took 7 points (!) from a possible 21 down the stretch last year -- scuppering our Prem bounce back -- looms pretty large now, dunnit? *THEY* have to wear that forever. And the fanbase has to wake up and realize that LUFC standards have seriously dipped, to the point that the departed seem better than they actually were. Time to gear down: no hasty or rash signings; trust the young 'uns rise to the opportunity; and get off of the skipper's back. It's definitely gonna be a slog. Cheers.
Not at all beyond the realm of possibility based on our 3:3 come-from-behind draw at ER against newly promoted Pompey on opening day last weekend (!) and the midweek 0:3 League Cup whipping by Boro. Cheers.

Thanks Paul. Good to see you’re better. I’ve said on a number of other channels that this window was going to be tougher than last years due to possible player losses. Think I’ve been proved right. Time is passing by quickly and we need 5/6 new players in asap. We’re only mid table with current squad IMO. Some great observations Paul.
49 ers just need to tell fans to put up the cash buy the club and let us implode on ourselves sure keeping top notch player in, staying within psr, and not loosing you ass financially is easy. Or are they only running the team to keep us happy. They dished out 73 mill last June and need around another 60 plus mill next 2 years to pay off old debt not a lot of assets to strip when you have 190 mil in debts that you have to pay before you take any. Don't see them spending more than 20 to 25 mil more this window top 2 might be tough

I am quite calm so I understand the Archie deal for PSR, I get the release clauses - reluctantly, but now we seem to have a very large purse and no Leeds fan would be cautious about spending the whole damn lot on as many decent players as we can.
We will end up with new players we know nothing about from Europe. It's sickening losing my favourite player, then the next favourite player then the heartbeat of love from Georgie. Gutted. Radz 'built' everything on sand though. It wasn't done professionally and now we're back in the hole we started in, but fortunately not anywhere near as bad as the Bates/Cellino/GFH years.
Surely we would have to agree to the terms of the deal i.e. what if Brighton are only offering 25 million up front with the rest as 'add-ons' ( or something similar), would we have to agree to that ?.
I think we are run by sensible people, clubs would have known about the clause in Rutters contract. Makes sense that we haven't just bought players we at to wait and see who was leaving. I fully expect the 49ers to go out and spend.

They have thrown Farke under the bus, and screwed us fans over. They were going to give him the players to get the job done? They were going to replace like for like? They were well prepared early this time? They brought red bull in to stop players leaving? Why the hell did they bring in so many recruiters. My blood is boiling right now.
Havent been able to sleep after this news. Im genuinely heartbroken and feel like i want the season to be over and done woth now. Too much to do now with 16 days left of the window. That team last night had zero spark and no fight and we will lose more of them before the window closes. There will be riots at elland road soon. Georgie is the heart and thats why we connect with him so much. Sending love for the tooth, feel your pain with that.
I was at the game Evie, we were all saying in warmup that all players looked like something was off. A lot of us think the players knew about Rutter way before the game. One of the lads even ended up banging £250 on borough to win because it was that clear there was something weighing on the shoulders of the players pre match
You say he unlocks defences? So many matches last year we couldn't do just that...... Unpopular opinion I'd take it, he gives the ball and away too much.... potential is there,we overpaid and now make a profit...
There’s been a lot of talk about Leeds having a stronger squad this season. That is clearly no longer the case. The owners are sending y’all down the river, sadly.
