Welcome to my very own RU-vid Channel. In this channel, I review many different cars (new and used), that are available in South Africa. Cars have been a passion of mine since I can remember, and I feel so fortunate to be able to share that with you.
I am always looking for cars to review. If you live in the Western Cape, and have a car that is in decent original condition, please get in touch with me. Email Address: caracter.reviews@gmail.com.
As always, if you enjoy my content, please Subscribe to my channel, and Like the videos. It really does help a lot
They bought it when I was still in high school, I think 2013. I've been a fan ever since. We bought other cars but this one got passed down to me and I'm still using it... Just today 20-May-2024 is gave me a clutch problem, for the first time ever... It is quite a strong car
I have this car, cheap run around wont last me long term but for now as a new driver on the road i would say its great, the gear stick is exactly how you described it ive previously drove two cars during my learning lessons and i thought the same about the gear stick with this car, i have stalled this car quite a few times however as its new car ive driven, not finding the bite correctly and freaking out maybe its a me problem and not the car it self. The window buttons to open at the front were a shock to me to be down near the gear stick rather then on the window and the electric side mirrors took time to find 😂.
An interesting video - thanks! I travel a lot of miles for work and realised a long time ago that buying cheap secondhand cars was far more economical than suffering the huge depreciation of putting high mileages on much newer cars. Three years ago I came across a 2008 1.4hdi advertised at a price I thought was missing a '0' - however, it wasn't and I ended up paying the vast sum of £300 sterling! A great little car and have now taken it up to 180,000 miles without a problem.....and averaging 60mpg too - now that's economical motoring! However, recently the ride has become rather hard at the rear and can be thrown off course when hitting a pothole on a bend, perhaps suggesting worn bushes, although my garage can't see a problem......has anyone experienced anything similar? Incidentally, before the C3 I had it's bigger egg shaped relative, the Xsara Picasso - what a car.....comfortable, perfect mobile office - and enough space and totally flat boot floor to sleep on if necessary!
