I can only speak for Belgium, but here caps are pretty much only for when it's very sunny (definitely not inside buildings). Definitely no athleisure wear to go to your average workplace. Hoodies are okay in the winter, but generally only worn by young-adults.
That Mercedes is a W212 E model. I own one too and I'm pretty dissapointed when having it in mushy conditions (mud, snow, sludge,...) Driving backwards is the best option. Or go by bicycle ;) We learned how to bike all year long in all conditions because we had to from our parents. It's just what you have around. We'd be biking to all activities and school for instance. Heavy rain? here, have a raincoat or an alternative piece of plastic. Snowing? Have plastic pants too. You'd be stopping every 500 meters to get rid of the snow and move on. If it got too bad, you'd go on foot.
I earned about 40,000 Belgian francs (1000 euros) when I started working, paid 250 euros on rent and about 250 euros on groceries. Now my rent is about 1/2 of what I earn and groceries are about 1/3rd while taking care of two teenagers. Times definitely have changed.
you need the correct glasses, and look up how to poor it correctly, if you cant find the glasses, hold your glas on a 45° angle, and poor slowly, that will reduce the foam, the rule is 2 fingers of foam, foam makes you drunk faster, and invites a massive hangover, look it up, the best beer is called "west Vleteren" only sold by the monks themselves, not in any store, you need to drive to the abbey, and only once a year, AND only one crate per car is allowed. could be a great trip and video , you also need to taste the dark beers, like Rochefort, Chimay, and Kasteelbier ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CbVZFVKET1c.html
What I never understand with these types of videos; is it about you or is it about the chase. If it is about you, great video. If it's about the chase, you please shrink your head to the size of a postage stamp. IMHO
Actualy you have to pay a fine, if you dont drive to the side or use that way through, some people have stickers on the back of their cars that show how to drive on the side. So everyone on the right or middle have to stay right (even if there are more than 2 lanes) and only the left have to stay left.
The comment about police car, sadly no this is what they look like. They’ve tried ‘jazzing’ them up recently but it’s really no better. Same makes/models
yes that was an L for learners. that wierd bike is called a "bakfiets" or "bucket bike". and blue number plates are company's/organisations ( non private ) owned cars.
Blue license plates are taxi's. This was done to prevent illegal taxi's doing their business. You also have green license plates, for car dealers. Or white ones for small trailers up to 750 total weight.
The open mindedness and curiosity was so refreshing to see. Also thank you for calling it Football. I think it’s a pet peeve for many fans when the US crowd calls it soccer. It’s the only one of the “football” sports where you can’t use you hands (unless goalie) and the biggest sport so I think it deserves to be the de facto Football 😂
doctors and medical are no longer free, you pay up front in many cases, and claim a small proportion back, thanks to our many politicians trying to cut medicare out, with the uni girl 1977 she would of been living in shared housing
The whiny sound that picks up in amplitude and pitch as the car goes faster, sounds to me like he's got straight-cut gears on that thing. If he's gone to the length of running straight cuts and swapping the engine, you know what he's done to suspension and brakes as well as how much he spent on tyres.
Your dead right born in 1976 in Western Australia and food petrol beer and rent/mortgage most expensive ever and pay gone up F all compared.I remember diesel 67cents a litre eating what ever you wanted and $200 a wk rent
Eating Mayo is mostly in the north part of germany, in the south the people prefer oil and vineger in their salad. You bring your own birthday cake, that your coworkers do not feel uncomfortable, if they forget your birthday. 😊 In lots of familys the grownups let the kids open the bottles and when you are allowed to drink beer and you are outside, you sometimes have to be creativ 😁 so opening bottles with sticks, benches, tables, other bottles, lighter or even folded paper.
Love these videos, because they show how what on our side of the Atlantic Ocean is part of our common history, on the other side is a very interesting discovery. The 2CV is a very beloved car and for that it has its nicknames. Here in the Netherlands we call it "Eend" (Duck) or "Lelijke Eend" (Ugly Duck) There also was a very well sold van version from the 2CV and a 4x4 with 2 engines called 2CV Sahara, which is an extreme rare to find car nowadays.🙂
I will never understand why people wear hats or caps inside a house. I mean i can understand if its maybe against rain or sun, but are the roofs in american houses all that bad that its always raining inside ? So no, personally i never wear or have weard such a cap in my 60 years, and the only people i "know" wearing them are some younger german RU-vidr, maybe they still think that america is "cool" and haven't noticed that the "american dream" ended with Ronald Reagan already long years ago.
In 1974, the year I started work as a 17yo I was paid $99 per fortnight after tax. The rent I paid at a boarding house was $24/week and the next biggest expense was the weekly train ticket at about $8/week (may have been 7 dollars something. Didn't leave much for anything else but managed to get into Lidcombe oval to watch Wests play. DId that for a year then then in 1975 my wage went to $120/ fortnight.
Its hilarious to see your amazement at how dutch drivers conduct themselves and dutch infrastructure. Its so normal to us, why would you have it any other way?
Honestly if went to america and got terrible service at a place i would go you can kiss ya tip goodbye with that dogshit service and i would surely never go there again!
Can't see what the tests are, but not all tests are covered by Medicare. Also depends who by/where the tests are ordered from. Some GPs order the weirdest/rare tests (up to and including genetic tests done overseas and/or not deemed relevant by Aus health standards.) And as an aside, most private pathology companies can only bill Medicare for the three most expensive tests, rest are done for free. Unless ordered by a Specialist, then can charge for all tests ordered. Glass upside down on bar was still a challenge to all comers in Western/Central Queensland in the 80s. Peanuts were primarily grown in Kingaroy, South Burnett Queensland until they started massive irrigating in WA/NT, now a lot of peanut farms have changed crops as money no longer there as imports cheaper. But still order mine from The Peanut Van, especially Hickory (for Christmas) and Curry flavours. Worst interaction with a local mammal I've seen was an Arts student decide to try and pick up an injured Ringtail with baby on back. Short version, Ringtail ran into scrub, we wrapped students arm in towel and took to ED.
