My favorite seasons were 3 and 4, however 4 is definitely higher on top simply for the fact that we got our queen Bretman AND Nikkita lol, i can quote etn Bretman in my sleep
I loved this video, if I did a tier list, it would look like this: SS-Tier: Safiya, Rosanna, Liza & Matt (S3) S-Tier: Tana, Lele, Manny, Alex & Eva A-Tier: Timothy, Justine, Jesse, Lauren & Olli B-Tier: GloZell, Andrea (S2), Bretman, Tyler, Nikita & JC C-Tier: Colleen, Teala & Andrea (S1) D-Tier: Roi, Sierra & DeStorm F-Tier: Matt (S1), Shane, Gabbie & Joey Some things I want to put out: - Matt constantly nagging at Lele and his behavior switching after killing Sierra annoyed me so much - Nikita would be in S-Tier but she was such a bitch in S4 - Tana is out of all the characters my biggest grower, after watching S4 I returned to S2 and I fell in love - it‘s a tie for me between Safiya and Ro, I love both of them so so much With the upcoming movie, I have a tiny wishlist of RU-vidrs I would love to see be in it and hopefully won‘t get thrown under the bus by Joey - LDShadowlady - LaurenZSide - Anthony Padilla
Tbh, i feel like season four should have been a top4 finale. Like just my opinion, have Joey and Bretman alive and other two to save. Only "saving" A PERSON doesnt sit right with me. The redeeming quality of the season is just Nikita and Bretman's freindship on ep6/7 and the challenges.
I just wish some of the RU-vidr‘s didn‘t have other appointments booked while filming the seasons, it would‘ve been a different turnout for quite a few characters, especially Tana and Liza, I loved those 2 so much in their seasons. I also agree with season 3: Matt, Safiya and Ro are by far my favorite characters in the series and I also love how they became even closer after filming ended, Safiya invited both Ro and Matt to her wedding which means a lot. I still wish season 4 had a better outcome because the second half of the season was almost insuffarable for me to watch, I actually quit watching after Ro died, because I was just so mad at Joey‘s entire behavior, what I did find amusing tho was the fact that although Colleen got revived by Joey, she still called him a terrible friend for letting Ro be eaten by dinosaurs
tho i want tyler and andrea to be in season 4 they were prob didnt come is the same why the season 1 winners didnt come for season 2, joey invited them for a party while in season 3 is for a mission, they probably came bcs matt, already have interacted with the society against evil and for nikita, i dont really have much theory for her but she prob accepted it as joey already revealed some info of them and that she came to save other characters but WHY WASNT MANNY IN ALL STARS BRUUHH I WANTED TO HAVE THEIR INTERACTION
btw the season 1 winners were supposed to be in season 2 but didnt accepted the envelope to join bcs of course, they experienced full on death challenges to live
I'm gonna say it; there's a certain phrase that really pisses me off that exists within the ETN universe, "Prove yourself". I think we can all agree that there always needs to be teamwork and resilience is always needed in a group setting. In ETN, the groups must establish a respect system for each other so that at the end of the day, everyone is reliable and when it comes to voting the phrase "This person needs to prove themself" is thrown around easily. Genuinely, it confuses me. Not necessarily why it is said, but when. The entire episodes are a solution to how someone can prove yourself. Of course if you're suspected of not pulling your weight you'd immediately want to prove that you can survive in these conditions. However, when the people start saying how a certain person must prove themself either IN confessionals or DURING the death challenge, it basically means nothing. You had the whole episode to prove your strengths and show your capable of escaping, why would you say it when the death challenge could be your finale. Better yet, this infuriates me. In season 5, we all remember Joey voting Ro into the final challenge because he wanted to "prove herself" When he would know she didn't need to. She had done challenges before, she vowed to vote herself in the Arabian ep because she didn't want Joey to take the fall for failing and even so he voted her in anyway and she died! She didn't get to prove herself, because she died! Maybe this could be just bc Bretman was too fast for her, but you can see in the challenge she was trying her best. In addition, Joey should've gone in instead. Joey's whole reasoning for returning was to save his friends from eternal hell. If he really wanted to be a hero, he should've nominated himself for more challenges (Ik he did twice to protect Alex in Arabia and for his friends in the Greek mytho ep) This ep, especially before the finale, would've been better if he got involved. Although it would probably rob us of more Bretman and or if you go down the other route the ending is uncompleted. EVEN SO. And it didn't necessarily need to be Joey; Colleen was there. She was an even worse character imo. Constantly talking about her death and complaining when ep 9 could've had her succeeding again, proving she was good at challenges if she just stfu. TDLR: tried to explain why the phrase "prove yourself" is confusing and how anybody (w the exception of ro and Bret) could've gone into the final challenge of all stars. Can you see that i love ro??
my theory is that Kodaka really wanted to make DR4 but due to a rights agreement making him not able to make anything beyond V3, he just made it anyway but changed the plot slightly and replaced Monokuma

for the gloves thing with justine, im pretyy sure she just didnt want her hands to go numb. i think it was mentioned that the water was very very cold. im pretty sure eva just had a higher tolerance. plus they had to unscrew something on the bottom of the tank ( correct me if im wrong ). overall, i think justine just didnt want her skin to blemish/harm her skin
