The saddest part of Safiya’s death was when Joey said in a separate video rating the deaths was thats the episode she started getting comfortable with everyone😢

Rosanna saying *"I Love You"* was probably the most gut wrenching, hearth throbbing, tear shedding, and oscar nominating scene in the whole season of Escape The Night season 3

Fun fact in lele’s death they were all actually crying because of how long the night was and they were so exhausted

Safiya's death destroyed me so hard that I didn't want to watch the rest of the season but I did end up pushing myself and then Ro's death happen (I did end up watching the rest of the season)

I think the most unfair first death would be JC, done so much just to get put in by 1 SINGULAR VOTE, but I overall agree with your entire tier list!

Girl I literally had a mental breakdown when Ro died, like I could barely eat after watching her death scene

Safiya's death made me the saddest because I thought for sure she was going to make it out. She saved Teala in episode 2, she revived Matt, and she never got voted for in any of the challenges. I was shooketh at the reveal that she was going to die, because she deserved only the best. Safiya Nygaard is queen

Timothy's death in season 1 made me so upset because Timothy was one of my favorite characters in the first season BUT when I found out the backstory of his death, I CRIED my eyes out (Timothy called out "hit" without looking down at his board, and the scene where he said it hurt him to watch eva point the gun to her head, basically, Timothy gave up his life in season 1 for eva)

The fact that Roi literally sacrificed himself for the group’s sake is just…😢

Even though Gabbie’s death was not sad at all, you have to admit that her death was the coolest in my opinion and it is not fair that she got such a cool death

I was watching ETN back when S1 first came out and followed the show since. Justine's S4 death.... OOOH IM MAD. Not only was I mad that she died first since I wanted her to have a comeback from S1, I was mad that they gave me hope WHILE IT WAS HAPPENING bc she tried fighting back but ALSO bc of WHY she was even in the challenge in the first place. We all thought (when S4 first started airing) that she was just god awful at the mission and got her card put in like 6 times...... She failed it on purpose to get voted in and let Tana win the first challenge bc Gabbie was being a nasty rodent on set and made her ask Joey to get killed off. AHHH I'll never be okay with her S4 death I'm mad TO THIS DAY

Loved this!! Jesse is one of my Favourites and watching him getting left behind actually made me sad along with Alex he should’ve won!! But at least he was in all stars thought!!

The saddest death for me was Saifya, she didn’t deserve it and she was very helpful to the group she was the most helpful out of everyone in escape the night EVER so watching her die was very heartbreaking, I absolutely love Manny but I’d rather him die low key

All the saddest deaths to me: Both of Ro's, Safiya, Colleen in season 3, Lele-i love lele😢, liza, tana, i would say gabby but iykyk, and manny😢. Cried on all of them(Mostly Ro's)

I am so terrebly upset about Nikita destroying Colines munument. I loved Alex, but he deserved to die there. He escaped death 3 times already. One time because of the oter sacrificing himself, the second time because of Nikita cheating and the thirth time by Joey taking his place. I also just wanted Mat too remain for another episode.

Honestly the saddest deaths for me were Matpat and Ro because they are my childhood and I know Matt came back but still that doesn’t change the fact the he was beaten to death and Ro kept looking back screaming his name For Ro’s deaths the first one is sad because Matt kept encouraging her even though he knew she was gonna die and when they said that they love each other(in a sibling way) I just felt so sad man 😭 And for Ro’s second death for me it was because she was eaten ALIVE so- Also just imagine being Matpat ok? So yes you died and then came back but when you come back EVERYONE you love dies and sure you survived but you still have to carry the trauma of seeing everyone you love die and you have to remember the feeling of being beaten to death I was so happy when they reunited in season 4 like I literally screamed-

15:57 SPOILERS! V V V this was my genuine reaction when S4 EPS8 came out. I literally went into the episode knowing Alex was going to die. Therefore, I didn’t watch the episode at first. I did watch it eventually, I wasn’t happy but I watched it.

My top 10 saddest deaths: 10.Lele. Now I wasn’t sad because I liked her character or anything. I was sad because of everyone else reactions. Joey’s growing desperation over trying to save her and Oli’s tearful pleads to be saved made that challenge emotional 9.season 2 DeStorm. Controversial, but I loved him even before season 4’s redemption. How only Gabby mourns for him and his last confessionals of accepting this but also wishing thing he went differently genuinely hurt. He just came for the party 8.Liza. A simple entry, she was pretty likable and not only was she betrayed(which isn’t even the worst Joey betrayal to me. We will get to that) but she was also killed even after she was spared in the challenge(making people believe it be similar to the circus) 7.moving on to the ones that really hurt, Justine from season 4. I didn’t find Justine’s season 1 death sad but I did find this heartbreaking even if I 100% saw it coming. I think it’s because of her last stand where she fights to her last breath against this mummy while Tana cheers for her friend in vain that really hurts 6.Manny. Speaking of really hurts but I saw coming, Manny’s luck running out was expected. But it’s also a sadder Matt situation because unlike him, Nikita chose to kill him. And his last words being “you’re not gonna shoot me” along with his little head shake and Nikita tough facade shattering for a second added to the sadness 5.Alex season 4. Joey you jerk. You did this mission to save everyone, and you chose to betray Alex by running over his flag. That to me was his biggest betrayal. Him dying despite DeStorm’s sacrifice for him earlier and his acceptance speech about his arc made it a way sadder goodbye than with season 2 one despite their similarities 4.bias because I grew up on Fight of the Living Dead, but I loved JC. But the saddest part was Mat’s reactions the whole scene and that even in season 4, he never truly recovered from this failure 3.Tim season 1. Oh this one stung. Especially the theory that Tim chose to sacrifice himself for Eva because in the wide shot there was no piece on the spot he was supposedly hit on. The silence, the off screen gunshot, and Eva’s cries of anguish only add to it 2.DeStorm season 4. That whole episode was sad for him. He becomes a mentor to Alex who was his original enemy, he admits he’s not evil when Alex wants advice, reluctantly goes back into being Alex’s enemy and toying with him when pinned against him, and then sacrifices himself for Alex as redemption for Lauren’s death. It was perfect 1.Rosanna season 3. I sobbed hard and I’ll never emotionally recover

I'm gonna say it; there's a certain phrase that really pisses me off that exists within the ETN universe, "Prove yourself". I think we can all agree that there always needs to be teamwork and resilience is always needed in a group setting. In ETN, the groups must establish a respect system for each other so that at the end of the day, everyone is reliable and when it comes to voting the phrase "This person needs to prove themself" is thrown around easily. Genuinely, it confuses me. Not necessarily why it is said, but when. The entire episodes are a solution to how someone can prove yourself. Of course if you're suspected of not pulling your weight you'd immediately want to prove that you can survive in these conditions. However, when the people start saying how a certain person must prove themself either IN confessionals or DURING the death challenge, it basically means nothing. You had the whole episode to prove your strengths and show your capable of escaping, why would you say it when the death challenge could be your finale. Better yet, this infuriates me. In season 5, we all remember Joey voting Ro into the final challenge because he wanted to "prove herself" When he would know she didn't need to. She had done challenges before, she vowed to vote herself in the Arabian ep because she didn't want Joey to take the fall for failing and even so he voted her in anyway and she died! She didn't get to prove herself, because she died! Maybe this could be just bc Bretman was too fast for her, but you can see in the challenge she was trying her best. In addition, Joey should've gone in instead. Joey's whole reasoning for returning was to save his friends from eternal hell. If he really wanted to be a hero, he should've nominated himself for more challenges (Ik he did twice to protect Alex in Arabia and for his friends in the Greek mytho ep) This ep, especially before the finale, would've been better if he got involved. Although it would probably rob us of more Bretman and or if you go down the other route the ending is uncompleted. EVEN SO. And it didn't necessarily need to be Joey; Colleen was there. She was an even worse character imo. Constantly talking about her death and complaining when ep 9 could've had her succeeding again, proving she was good at challenges if she just stfu. TDLR: tried to explain why the phrase "prove yourself" is confusing and how anybody (w the exception of ro and Bret) could've gone into the final challenge of all stars. Can you see that i love ro??

The reason why I personally would put Ro’s season 4 death at the top is because I keep thinking about how Matt would react after seeing she isn’t coming back and it breaks my heart

Both Tim and Alex's death shook me the most, they were also my favorite cast members from S1, S2, and S4 and seeing Tim and Alex die twice hit me real hard.

Believe it or not, The deaths that affected me most were Ro's and Tana's. Ro's death is self explanatory, she was the sweetest cinnamon roll. And Tana's. Oh boy. I loved her so much as she cared for everyone. I don't know what episode specifically, but in season 2, she said "These gems will never be worth the lives of our dead friends". Although Tana didn't do too much, I fucking loved her because in my eyes she was a taller Ro. And in season 4, she didn't want to kill Justine. Justine had to reassure her that if she doesn't order the mummy to kill her then they both die and SHE STILL DIDN'T ORDER THE MUMMY TO KILL HER! The mummy just got fed up and killed Justine anyway. And then CHEERED JUSTINE ON AS SHE FOUGHT BACK! When Justine lost, she cried. I can go on a 10 minute tangent of why I love Tana so much in ETN, but I'm not.
