I'm currently not uploading due to a drastic change in my circumstances, though with how things are going, I may come back within a few years. We shall see.
no. not because the hecate 2 is french. its an anti MATERIEL rifle because its supposed to be used agains lightly armored vehicles, military equipment and other sensitive or lightly armored equipment. and "materiel" means "military materials and equipment".
Thank you so much for making these videos, I’ve always wanted to try this but have always had trouble following along but your videos are perfect combined with the fact i just beat new Vegas for the first time, thank you so much for the inspiration!
I took a woman’s trench coat pattern from a craft store and modified it as best I could to match the one from the game. I used synthetic linen and a sewing machine (I highly recommend you invest in one if you expect to work with fabrics, it’ll cut project times down by like, 90%).
That’s correct! I cut a single piece of cast acrylic into a trapezoid, made a silicone mold from it, and cast a bunch of them with resin and red and yellow dye.
NO WAY!!! im not a huge fan of ratchet and clank, but my brother has been playing it for as long as he can remember. im sure if i showed him this hed go batshit crazy. absolutely incredible!! edit: he already saw it my hopes are crushed 😭
just stumbled on this video, and checked out your recent videos. hope youre doing well. you've got talent and i can see that now you're doing better. this video came in clutch for me, i've recently been wondering how possible it would be to make an omniwrench that can extend for hyperswing action shots, and the structure here is helping me come up with ideas. thanks for your videos, and i wish you all the best
Back when I had Facebook, someone saw a post I made in a cosplay group and sent them to me. That’s probably not the answer you were hoping for, so I’ll give you some tips: my favorite program to make stencils and patterns of any kind is Adobe Illustrator. It does cost a monthly subscription and has a learning curve, but it’s worth it. If you don’t feel like doing that, try Paint.NET, which is free! I had a lot of positive experiences using it.
If that’s what you got, that’s what you got! I highly recommend getting EVA foam from retailers like TNT Cosplay, but at the end of the day, it is YOUR creation. OWN IT.
Oh I totally get that, I hardly ever eat out or even get Starbucks solely for the sake of financial commitments! Definitely recommend honoring your budget over splurging on a hobby. You’re welcome!
viego from league of legends has a longsword too, but it has blade on the guard and the pommel. this video might be a nice reference for a similar sword i could make
I made it using synthetic linen. Burlap and canvas work well too. Or even faux leather! Just find as close a women’s trench coat template as you can find, then modify it to your liking and go from there. I highly recommend getting your hands on a sewing machine. Or just poke around on Etsy! I’ve seen some impressive trench coats on there.
I know, I get that a lot and do apologize. Just not in a season right now. That being said, Etsy sellers usually will take custom orders, so if you want, you are welcome to use this video as a reference!
Technically yes, but I have no way to access it. You can make one yourself using Adobe Illustrator, or Paint.NET if you don’t feel like paying for software. :)
Thank you thank you! YOU are amazing for being so humble! That inspires me a lot. Stick around! I’m not active right now, but will get back into uploading in the coming years, if not months.
No can do friend, but what I can do is inform you that many Etsy sellers do take custom orders. You are more than welcome to show them this video as a reference for them!
Not personally, but anytime I’m looking for something new, I always check the negative reviews, how responsive the business is, and if I can, how the business corrects mistakes. If I can see myself working with them, I’ll consider doing so until I’ve made a decision.
Dude I thought your pic was cyber Cyrax for a second there! Love it, yo. I don’t remember exactly, other than it’s 19 inches long. You can scale an image of the hammer to 19 inches in length and the rest will take care of itself!
@@QuantumLeapCosplay certainly can try and see what happens with it. Might have to take some creative liberties but if it ends up being a thing you might see it around
GRAND TO HAVE YOU BACK, MY MAN!! Just good to hear that you're alright, even through such boosh as the sickness-that-shall-not-be-named. So, glad see see your face again after so long! Hopefully I could rend up the courage to ask your advice on some shtuffs, lol
THANK YOU!! You’re awesome, friend. I know seriously?! Was a total shutdown of everything necessary? Well, at least things are opening up, especially here in Texas. Nobody except Asians in grocery stores wear masks here! Hahaha
Oh dude, you can ask me whatever you want! I will never, ever judge you, period. You are a grand and unique creation with your own unique likes and dislikes, opinions, story, values, and emotions, and you were woven together, atom by atom into the special human being you are. Just because they may be different from mine is never a reason to think negatively of you. Ask me WHATEVER you want.
@@QuantumLeapCosplay Texas do be rowdy, lolol. Actually, I mostly wanted to ask where you get your materials for your foam stuffs. Like, Amazon, or what not. Buuut there's also a secondary question, and that's.... well, I'm no good at foamsmithing, so I was wondering if there was some way to talk out a commission or something, lol. I'm more accustomed to the drawing stuffs, but the making has never been a strong-suit, so, if you had a discord, or something, it'd be cool to talk it out! Or, really, to just talk in general. Who _doesn't_ need more friends in their life? X3 But, yeah. Das all~! ~~Snowhead W.B.
Be rowdy indeed! Drivers are maniacs here, but that means I can be too from time to time. Hehehe I got my foam from TNT Cosplay, I have had nothing but positive experience with them. I even partnered with them once! Wonderful company, and their office is right here in Texas! Unlikely in terms of commissions; I am just not in a position where I’m willing to take that time. There are plenty of Etsy sellers that will take custom orders though! You are welcome to use my videos as references for any such sellers. Yeah, drawing and crafting are two whole different beasts aren’t they? You and I are different in that sense as drawing isn’t my strength. I don’t have Discord, but my first piece of advice to you is to just go for it, and be willing to make mistakes because they’re inevitable anyway, so might as well get the most out of them (by learning!). Cosplay is a game of trial and error, so make tons and tons and tons of mistakes, learn from them, and grow as a craftsman. The right friends, absolutely! It’s definitely about who you know. I wish we were taught to apply that during our time in school. Can y’all relate?
@@QuantumLeapCosplay Absolutely can relate, lmao. School always came across as not very helpful in my younger years, but, hey, I got through it, and can at least look back on what I did learn, so, hey, some plus there. Ah, yes, the good old advice of "don't be afraid to make mistakes" I hear that from so many people and my brain just never seems to process that. What, being a perfectionist and all. I kinda hafta force myself into the midset of "is it's fucky wucky, so what?" yknow? I'll hafta note TNT Cosplay, so, thanks for that name drop, haha. And as for Etsy... okay, that's actually brilliant and I have no idea how that never crossed my mind, lmao. Alright, well, thank you for all this knowledge, man! And uh, don't die while drivin' 'round, alright? If you're gonna drive like a maniac, don't be a reckless one, haha. Be good, man, and be well!
Superglue works for really small pieces, like rhinestones. For foam however, I use contact cement. Hardware stores usually sell it in glass jars and aluminum cans. I personally prefer the latter in combination with a glue pot, but the glue pots do tend to be a little spendy, usually $50-$60.
Hey there. I was wanting to make a Anti-Materiel rifle like in your tutorials, but I saw that the template was unavailable and all of your social was shut down. Do you still have it? And I hope you're doing the best you can.
Technically yes I do have it, but I have no way to access it right now. My suggestion to you friend, is to make the template yourself! I know you can do it, you just need the right resources. I used Adobe Illustrator to make mine, but Paint.NET is a fantastic program if you don’t feel like paying for an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription. Images of the rifle can be found all over the Internet. I personally recommend the Fandom Wiki as they usually have perfect reference images of their pages’ respective items. Hope you are doing well too, friend! I appreciate you and your comment.
