I have 50 ravens in my yard every day. I love them so much. I want to befriend them. I can only make the clacking noise, but not the call you made, which was excellent btw!

I've had a raven hanging in our yard for over 3 weeks with a bum wing. I started leaving her clean water and a couple cans of sardines and sliced up apples. She sits on my garbage cans and looks into our kitchen window.
Whenever I see one flying by I make that little clicking sound with my tongue that they commonly make, about five or six times, and it never fails to get them to circle back for a 2nd look and most of the time repeat the clicking call. Not sure what that series of clicks means but I did it with the pair by my house for years and kind of mastered it lol…I relate to this video hardcore.
Sasta peski anorak is the worst jacket I've ever tried. I have done 3 mountain hikes with the jacket at altitudes above 1000m, mostly in rainy weather. All it takes is a light rain and after ten minutes your shoulders are soaked under the backpack straps, then your whole back is soaked, and if it rains for more than three hours you will be soaked completely. My only luck was that my destination was a mountain hut where I could dry everything overnight. If I had planned on bivouacking, it probably would have been life threatening. The funny thing is, my friend with a jacket at a third of the price got much better results. The Peski anorak is suitable at most as a windbreaker, but certainly not for rainy weather. It will provide more function perhaps if you are hiking with a shopping bag in hand. Don't spend €550 on this crap!

I've tried out so many jackets over the yrs and the money some of them cost and they still not waterproof,and take ages to dry, I use a helikon pilgrim now, not waterproof but if it's saturated from heavy rain it's dry by the morning
Actually I'm not sure about the purpose of vocalisations in ravens but I know that in owls for example they do vocalize to defend their territory so basically if you imitate an owl or play a record of an owl and somehow an owl responds, it'd mean that she is stressed and she uses energy for nothing, so better to avoid. But I should check and see for ravens, it must be different.
