Hey Evade, so I did the helmet to mask glitch wrong by equipping a helmet first onto one outfit and saving it, then going onto the bed and opening int menu (accessories weren't available to select) so I selected a different outfit.. then got out of bed, quickly went to wardrobe (the helmet disappeared so went off n back onto wardrobe) and was able to save that. This might be a future work around you can display.
