There’s no where near enough to when you. Many foods contain arsenic just not one nefarious levels. This just isn’t a thing. I’ve studied it and I grow my own rice.
I'm sorry I love you so much but I have to disagree on this because my grandfather who was a chef his whole life was born in China and ate rice almost everyday lived to be 98 years old and he never washed his rice. And I never wash mine either because I follow his lead as having been a chef for over 70 years. Even when he quit being a chef in the restaurants he was a chef for our growing family and he cooked a meal for 25 people 2 weeks before he died at the age of 98.
I can respect that as my father did the same. However, food of all types has gotten progressively worse since there days. Just the plants they come from and the workers and the conditions. But of course. I am only sharing what I do. So by all means follow your father’s lead. I’m sure he was an amazing chef and person in general. Thanks so much for sharing
I've used to add milk or water, but I find just whipping up the eggs really good and not having heat too high they come out nice and fluffy. Thanks Pam for the black pepper tip.
We've done chicken fried boiled eggs, pickled eggs and even sausage wrapped boiled eggs, but this is the first time I've ever seen chicken fried scramble eggs.
❤your YTs. I always wash my rice, no matter what color. & altho I'm a Texan by birth & consider it "home" because all my family's there, I would NEVER buy rice grown in TX & LA because of the naturally occurring hi arsenic content in the soil/water where the rice is grown. I buy rice grown in CA because it's much lower. Check it out. My fav is rice from Lundberg Family Farms (& I don't work for them & am not a paid spokesperson. This is just my personal opinion.)
🕊️🇮🇱♥️🎗️✡️👑🦁🕎📜⚖️📖🛡️⚔️📯♥️🕊️ That's So True! Once opened, Lettuce & Other Veggies seem to ruin more quickly. It seems like all my veggies go bad, fast; but I just bought airtight Storage bowls on sale ..I found some great bargains for the new storage containers I now have, that works so well it extending Shelf-life Freshness. Regardless of the Airtight Containers I now have to save my Food with longer shelf life, I am going to double secure my veggies with your idea of using the paper towel for absorbing the excess moisture. Great Idea and thanks for sharing! 🫒🌻🫒
Dang! No wonder why I don't like brown rice. But now, I have 3 bags of 1lb brown rice. That I don't know. What to do with. Would washing it. Take care of this for me?
self rising flour has added ingredients to make it self rising. I don't have any, but I CAN look up the recipe for self rising flour. I believe it's baking powder, and something else. You have a lovely soothing voice my dear.
