I am a English singer/songwriter you can find me at on Amazon, Spotify, iTunes undert the artist name John Robert Hunter. My website is www.johnrlhunter.co.uk I have been inspired by many people over the years, but the one that inspired me the most has been Bruce Springsteen and although my style of music doesn't necessarily reflect this. The songs that I like to listen to are songs that reflect experiences, they are moods, mini stories. I hope that you like my songs and come and find me on the web.
@@johnrlhunter great, so pleased susie is well, have a lovely time in wales. We have just spent a good while in South Devon ,pleased to say ,much nicer weather as well. We will be in Wales in September,
Your so,pretty Susie, I like your hair sort Susie it looked so nice. As always John , lovely words with so much meaning, you both look so different. But still very happy and that’s slll thst matters.
It looks lovely there. Love the true words in you son John please keep them coming. Wow look at the sunshine. Wish I was well enough to still go away like that on holiday.
@@cookingwithsusie I will be going to Devon and wales later in the year, also to Yorkshire, but I doubt I will be going abroad again , shame as in my good days we have travelled a lot of the world and done some lovely cruises, so I cant complain, sadly a series of bad health issues has left me as I am , and chemo and radiotherapy took its toll, so really I must be grateful for what I have seen and done and the fact I am still here, the radiotherapy is maybe the reason for having my heart valve replaced. Last year. Be vest if I could get rid of my lymphoedema , I would be able to do so much more, if my legs were not swollen all the time, as it can be painful. Never mind there are a lot that would be happy to be where I am , so must be grateful and do the things I can. But nice hols in the sun etc still appeal hehe. You both stay safe and look after yourselves.
@@cookingwithsusie did you or does your sister, be referred to a clinic , they used to have them , but my gps don’t really make any attempt to suggest one. There are machines you can buy to help remove the water in your legs , by I want to be sure I buy the right one , so a clinic could maybe help with some questions gps don’t seen to have the info. Times have changed. Xx hugs to you both as well. Hope you enjoyed the sun and still feel refreshed from it. If still there even better hehe
It is although, we drove it in a loop rather than to Applecross and back. Sutherland is now my favourite part of Scotland but then again Scotland is a very beautiful country
Lovely John did enjoy that. I thought you had a lovely woman hehr. How is Susie? Please send my love. Look forward to your next bit of music as always.x
Hi Karen , John said to say thank you ❤️ just felt I should let you know I am okay , although the 1st of Jan I was going on night duty and had a bad fall ,though I had broke my arm and hand ! Turns out I fractured a knuckle and tore lots of ligaments. I strapped it up and went on night duty , I got it seen next morning . Last few weeks have been a bit bumpy but I am getting there now . Hope you are okay xxxx
Susie you are so pretty, lovely pics. John love the words to this song. What true words, you look so happy together, may it continue for many years. True love. 💕💕🤣
The full song is in the normal locations but here is the full song without the video ru-vid.com/group/OLAK5uy_nIUrHHIhYOC7kpVdOZ3IjtFMYjomX6ZeU&si=mBFFUO1rNeY88GP7
Shane John your first recording finished quickly was nice. Second one really enjoyable. It’s true as we get older we wish we did the things we did years ago. Never mind at least still here to enjoy.
During the month of December I lost both parents, different years, so I do find December a hard month to deal with, we also lost a very dear friend during December as well. Your words fit just how how I feel, when I think back aver the tears. Thank you.x
Do you travel around in a motor home or just by car. You cover a big area ,hence the reason for asking. Apart from your singing the scenery is so lovely as well
By car, it is a very very long drive. Susie scopes out the hotels, we tend to stop at hotel either in the borderlands or close to. Last time we stayed in a lovely restaurant with rooms near Moffet.
@@johnrlhunter how beautiful. My hubby wants to go again to Scotland.but my experiences in Scotland have always been wet. So I think I may need to re consider my thoughts,re watching your trips it all looks so peaceful and beautiful. I love Devon that’s has always been my first choice when we talk about holidays. We have one of our sons who has a property there as well,so nice if they are there as we can have a nice time together we stay in a hotel as his two sons both men themselves go often as well. Our other son and his family love Devon as well. So I guess it’s a bit of a formality for us all really . We have gone there every year at some time in between foreign holidays for past 50 years. Maybe we need to spread our wings . Hehe . Thanks again for sharing.
@@johnrlhunter hehe me as well, I am not good at coping with winter at all. Get Christmas. Out the way and fingers x things will start brightening up a bit, let’s hopexx
@@johnrlhunter yes it’s a bit of a dead time. We have both retired so here anyway. I guess dave and Mel will go down to Devon for Xmas . They asked us to go but for me days are so short I don’t think it’s worth it. But we will see our other son and g family who live nearby , I do not like Xmas really I lost both my parents at Xmas and they both loved it and made so much of it, it doesn’t seen right still them not being there, johns mum and dad are no with us either. So it’s not really the same but we have to keep things going for our family. We are the oldies these days hehe. I hope you enjoy your time off with the family and a nice break for you as well. Not to long to wait.x
@@johnrlhunter that’s lovely John , congrats, look forward to hearing it, or do you mean you need to change the wife for a new version 😂 20 years to catch us up.
Hi Karen , just watching this for the first time myself ! I am fine back is getting better and I am being cautious! Such a busy time I am two girls down so it is all hands on deck . Hope you are doing okay xxx
@@cookingwithsusie great to hear that, Back ache is not nice at all. Being a sufferer I fully understand about that.. fingers x is eases altogether for you. Hope you enjoyed John singing as much as I did. I was listening to various songs for a good while before we went out. I think one reason I enjoy it is because the words have personal reasoning behind them , and you can put yourself in that place. With feeling. Will catch up on a few more tomorrow. Take care lovely hearing from you. Xx
A very powerful and true message. And a very beautiful and touching song, my dear human brother... I say human, because we're nothing more and nothing less than humans, all of us. Humans k!ll!ng humans makes no sense, neither racionally nor spiritually. Thanks for sharing this with the world. May the common sense and compassion of these people overcome their greed and hatred. Peace!
Dear John your wife is very right, I so love your singing, this was very nice to listen to , thank you, hope you do more in the future, but maybe for better times, lovely. Thanks susie x remember John I am sure many people would enjoy hearing your songs m why not try and see.
@@johnrlhunter that is not a problem John if you had something good let it out and show others , folk will them be listening out for you, a one off may not have same effect. Xxx
@@johnrlhunter yes, it is beautiful there! We once rented a holiday home in the Sutherlands on holiday. It was on a mountain, from there you could see the mountains and the North Sea! it was over the town of Golspie. One day we visited the Highland Games at Dunrobin Castel! We visited the castle on another day! From Golspie we explored the whole north !
Nice mix. Driven that road a few times to Polbain. (Good restaurant and campsite…). The street lights of Althandu surprised me on first visit. Street lights? Here?
Thanks Josephine. I love that area in Scotland. It’s a shame that the footage didn’t came out better It is such a beautiful place. My wife took additional footage on her camera. I think that I might redo this with her footage in. I took some drone footage also. The road out to Lochinver is lovely road with many amazing views.
Thanks Karen, I thoroughly enjoyed their performance. The phone doesn’t do them justice. Watching them helped me be inspired enough to finish and release my latest song
