Super cool new stuff. Love that Vac-Link system they have, but not a fan of the price. I kinda have a cheaper version of it that I put together. I have quite a bit of smart plugs laying around, and because I don’t care to listen to a screaming wet/dry vac all day and breathe some dangerous dust that escapes even a HEPA filter, I place my vac outside and run long hoses. I use that smart plug to remotely power on/off my vac. Obviously a WiFi connection is needed. I use a smart plug by the name of “Enbrighten”. They are tiny and work well. The plug works with my Apple watch as well. Just saying that if y’all ain’t got $800 to buy one of those new Waukie vacs, ya might wanna consider what I’ve done. Hope this helps someone.
I do Hvac and we cut a lot and measure a lot and are always having to remember all the measurements and we also are in attic and up and down ladders shouting numbers out and always forget by the time we are down ready to cut so this will be a game changer for me
@@ToolShow thank you it looks like the number is dwa1212 I’m searching now. Last question? Are all the Spyder bits made in the USA? Thank you I’m new at this and I’m a female. So I’m learning
Digital levels = planned obsolescence It will eventually fail and you will have to buy a new one. It's just blatant greed to milk money out of its consumers. Screw digital
@@dannybolewski7440 BWAHAHAHHA! YT decides where to put mid roll ads. Pretty savage to put it right before our integration ad. Really appreciate you watching the show despite it. ;-)
@@ToolShow I can see a Infiniti gauntlet being made with the tool show icon and instead of the stones each one is replaced with 6 of the major tool brands
Has FunkFPV ever been featured on this channel? He does great tool reviews. Though he has a weird foot fetish and always rates them 0 out of 10. There ya go.
The Milwaukee long reach pliers are the Bombdiggity for working on helicopters like the CH-47F Chinook, especially when you drop a bolt or washer in hard to reach places!!
I'm a dewalt fanboy. But I'd say it's Ryobi, Milwaukee, and then Dewalt for who's coming out with cool new stuff. Sine wave inverter power station. It's been 10 years Dewalt.... still waiting. At least they finally updated the nailer. The old one was iffy at best.
Ryobi is killing it with the household tools lately. I've looked at powered hard surface mops made by traditional cleaning companies and they've either been hideously expensive for what are rather cheap parts at the end of the day, or cheap but extremely flimsy with a small built-in battery and anemic barrel charger. All of them wanted you to use their proprietary cleaning solution bottles as well. Well done Ryobi! The powered crevice scrubber will also probably go over better than the last time my partner had some residue they couldn't get off, and I handed them my rotary tool with a wire brush on it...
Can never understand why many viewers are so lazy/stingy with 👍 likes. As of when I'm watching, there have been over 1600 views and only 160 likes? Under 10%? C'mon, people now 🎶 smile on your brother Rob and sister Sarah.
Likes aren't worth much. The algorithm values watch time. Did you watch from beginning til the end. Then engagement, out of the people watching how many comments. Subscribers (but is #1 for advertisers), and then that's when Likes start to matter. And it's not the number of likes so much as the ratio to dislikes. Which we can't see, but the uploader can. It's a lot more complicated, but it's just to say the algorithm puts very little weight to the Likes compared to what it used to so you don't have to worry.
@@mitchchartrand That’s not entirely accurate. Likes don’t affect the growth of a video at all. And they are not compared to dislikes. Likes (and dislikes) are only associated to the account that makes them. So if you like this video, it will affect your personal persona. That means you’ll be more likely to see more of our videos in your feed, as well as other channels that our regular viewers also historically watch. When people ask for likes, they’re only hoping you’ll like it, so you’ll personally be more likely to see our thumbnails in your feed. That’s it. The assertion that likes help grow a channel is misunderstood. Technically if you like, I might get an extra view from you, but that’s the best I can hope for. The like system is purely to help YT serve YOU the content you’ll likely enjoy the most. If you want to affect the algorithm and help our episode grow, then watch it all the way through, more than once, and leave a comment. But most powerful of all, is simply sharing it with your own social circle. You’ll know which friends are likely to enjoy our content. Your judgement won’t be as good as the algorithm (you don’t have access to the info the algorithm does) but if you told 10 tool fans about our show, you’re way more likely to help us grow than just watching and leaving a comment.
@@ToolShow I agree with everything you're saying, and I admit I didn’t explain myself properly. But I disagree that likes have no influence at all. A video that gets ratioed (where "dislikes" heavily outweigh "likes") is unlikely to make it to the top of anyone's feed, especially those who have never seen the channel before. While a user’s feed is catered to their individual watch history and likes, the algorithm also compares and contrasts their behavior with similar users. So, if there's someone who watches everything I do but hasn’t yet checked out your channel, the algorithm might recommend one of your videos, but not the one that's heavily ratioed. Does it directly help increase views? No, but likes can help prevent a video from ending up in algorithm purgatory. It’s not a major factor, but it’s not 0%, either. Plus, you wouldn't want the algorithm to recommend a video that has a poor ratio, especially as a first impression. Also, since the end user can’t see the ratio, it doesn’t matter from their perspective. Maybe you guys only put out great content that rarely deals with age restrictions, copyright issues, or community guideline strikes, so you don't experience videos being buried by the algorithm. Or maybe I just haven’t seen it happen with your channel.
Ryobi is nice they keep pushing and I appreciate that dream I personally am a dewaukee guy myself so whatever tool is better in my opinion. Ryobi makes a better caulk gun than Milwaukee and so forth. But I don’t think I’d trust anything up in the air with a battery what happens if it dies mid air?
That's what the RYOBI HP line is. They have more powerful brushless motors, take advantage of their more advanced batteries, and are built to survive the jobsite. Just look for the "HP" in the name.
