Percy Montgomery was ook ma net so kak en seker nog kakker as Manie ook. Al die kak comments oor manie is maar net nog n rugby fan wat seker nog nooit n donnerse ball op getel het nie. Let's see if you can do better. I think those few boys you are mentioning is not in the setup for a reason. Want hulle is kakker is Manie.
Shasha is out with injury ( his own fault for keeping it under raps) Manie will start all the games me thinks with Pollard on the bench ? Maybe somebody else start against Wales ..
Hey men...dont be blind. Boks played with 16 from start in all small ones. Press conferemce got some issie on that. No need to SA for assistance. They are WC
Some good thoughts. Don't think the score was true reflection of the competition, Argentina did themselves in with the cards at the end with the discipline. Libbock looked really good. Agree the kicking duties still not 100% sorted. Hendrickse looked really good at flyhalf, and slotting the early kicks helped steady the ship. Like him as a kicking option. Wiese looked really impressive with some of his metres made. Ox & PSDT definitely contenders for MoTM. I was mostly impressed with Fassi... He looked a bit hot headed/frazzled last week. Due to his kick chase last week, others were scrambling to cover for him. Everything that looked an issue was fixed this game. His positioning, tackling, passing was incredible. Some of the Libbock/Pollard passes would have been out of reach for a slightly slower player. Don't think anyone had a bad game... Maybe Arendse was below his usual high standard.
Oooooooh Dane loved Manie Libbok!! The amount of "I told you so" messages I sent! He's our first choice flyhalf, as long as he doesn't kick to goal. I rewatched this game and last week's game and there's a massive difference between how Pollard "controls" his backline VS how Libbok dictates the entire field. We were 20 points in the lead compared to last week where we were 17 points behind at half time. There was absolutely no pressure on Pollard when he came on. It was impossible for him to look bad. You just earned a sub from me, mate!
😅 appreciate that brother. I will always put Rugby first. Manie played well so I will give him his credit 💪 Him and Pollies are two very different styled players. Having that up your sleeve is a good position for Rassie to be in💪
16 against 13 hardly a contest !😮Furthermore one has to wonder if the Boks had of played there two games against the AB,s in NZ that it’s possible the winner of this comp could have had a different look …….just saying !😮😊
Best team in the SH atm won mate, don't feel bad Argentina did amazing, Australia is also looking stronger, ABs are improving, so next years RC is going to be off the charts competitive, that's good for us all, so lets just enjoy the great rugby SA are playing and look forward to having another crack at them next year.
Utter disappointment that Manie was on the receipt of absolute negative comments ... showed character of people and who are true rugby enthusiasts and not just content creators or who just started watching rugby
Top team, top squad. Really looking forward to what boks do in NH tour. Manie the starting 10 now? He's an excellent player. Send Manie to Daryl halligan kicking school. Look him up if you haven't heard of him. I'm kinda disappointed with this year's comp. No test vs boks in NZ. Not a fan of this format. No excuses (nz lost to Pumas of course). I just want to go see ABs v Boks tests. I'd actually like to know how many SA/NZ tests have been held in each nation and on neutral ground over the past 5 years, cos it seems we've seen very little of the boks in NZ. Do South Africans think the same of NZ going there?
@@samkohi8705 nope,.best teams should play at the best stadiums. I reckon that record is less impressive than the teams NZ wins away from home, but I'm not an Aucklander
In 2020 we were supposed to play one fixture at home and in New Zealand, but South Africa had to withdraw that year due to Covid. Then in 2021 the plan was to play two fixtures in NZ but due to NZ’s Covid restrictions they had to be played in Australia instead. In 2022 we had two here in SA, and then in 2023 one in New Zealand because of the truncated tournament. So if it wasn’t for Covid, South Africa would have ended up playing four fixtures in New Zealand and three in South Africa.
Poor Argentina just got blown off the paddock, this was a much different side to last week, Kolbe broke ankles, gz to SA out there making the RC look like a side quest.
Joe is doing some amazing work with Wallabies. It’s only up from here and they have got better every time. I respect it’s real tough being on losing end, and there’s no words to take away that loss. As a Kiwi, am only slightly relieved to see a better game from the ABs.
Great analysis bro. As I’ve said previously, Aus just don’t have the cattle ATM. Trending upwards though as are the ABs. Uncovered a true gem in Sititi
Manie's brilliant performance against the All Blacks at Twickenham showcased his immense talent as a fly-half. While his recent goal-kicking consistency has raised questions, a solution could be to utilize a teammate like Pollard or Colby for kicking duties. This would allow Manie to focus on his playmaking strengths without the added pressure of goal-kicking, potentially maximizing his overall impact on the team.
Libbok has the X-factor that no flyhalf in SA has. As stormers fan, we know and well accustomed to Manie's kicking but he makes for it in his attacking game, his flair and charisma on attack is unmatched. With all due to respect, Siya Masuku/Johan Goosen can all kick but he pretty useless otherwise as they just pass to the 12 instead of doing Magic like Libbok. Its a pity Sanele Nohamba sustained that concussion towards the end of the last URC season. Otherwise he is up there with Libbok...
Listen It irritates me as well, but rassie clearly has a plan, the reality is,he picked manie and is backing him all the way, i personally wouldn't have picked manie, but i trust rasie, and im sure he has a long term plan
Will Jordan first try "I the 'Cane for man" of the match, or Bowden, 37/23 ALL BLACKS to take the win and have a great end of the year Europe tour the bros are in town to play
It'll be interesting to see if swapping Beauden and McKenzie around makes a difference in the last quarter. Because if D'Mac has impact coming in fresh, what do you do then? Beauden Barrett isn't a long term option, and Razor obviously wants Damian to get as much experience now before Mounga comes back.
@@KickOnRugby I don't know about HP. I'd like to see him get a shot, but I guess that depends on what's happening with Perofeta. Pretty concerning we've gotten no injury updates on his leg "niggles" in months, yet we get a timeframe on Jordie's MCL injury within days.
@@KickOnRugby pretty much everyone is saying Mounga will be back for 2025 (Razor is barely even denying this now note comments about surfing with Joey Johns who asked him) so Dmac will end up as 2nd in line and perhaps on the bench. HP is 4th in line behind Perofeta
Honestly i waa amazed by wallabies comeback. They have a hard time in their own country. Very little support and consistently losing world class players to the NRL. Honestly if rhe NRL shutdown for some reason, i think the Wallabies would be vwry cloae to number 1. Still....go the ABs! Despite your overconfident attitude after the first half.
Click bait. But I’ll bite. He gets as many opportunity as he needs while he wears the jersey. Because it’s a team sport. If you watch that Arg v SA match again you will see that he created that penalty kick opportunity himself with his own kicking. To put us into a position where he could kick for a win. He created it. With his boot.
I believe Manie's best skills come when he starts, then hands over to Pollard / Sasha after 45 minutes. So .... let someone else kick. He is the BEST play-maker of all Fly-halves we have. Hope he gets the Boks off to a fast start. Go Bokke !!
I have every confidence in Manie pulling through. He will lead the Boks into the next cycle. But this test is about the most convincing lock whose career ive had the pleasure of watching. Eben in my all time Dreamteam
Nope. Not yet anyway. Sacha is having his second knee surgery, so already an injury concern. Pollard is the most consistent, but getting older and also had a history of injuries. That means Libbock by default although probably 3rd choice, won't be dropped from the training squads. Until other options are developed. Other potential future 10 options, Willemse, Hendrickse, Siya M, Noumba.
Other players made errors in this match and in the previous matches. Missing tackles etc which resulted in tries. Bit harsh to blame him for the loss. Yes nobody expects him to miss that kick but the loss was as a result of too many players being asleep.
He didnt just miss one kick. He also missed the penalty to the sideline where he kicked it over the in goal area. We could have been on the 5m line and scored...
Briliant opening weekend, and that was without the Saffas to come! Not so much moments of the weekend but takeaways. Connachts new look half back pairing of Ioane and Murphy looked like fire. Van der Merwe still as good going forward as he is truly *awful* in defence. G'wan Dragons & Zebre! And the defence coaches all around have LOTS of work to do.
