22:32 should be either MN deadhead trains #1047, #5371 or #5373 to Grand Central from Stamford 1:38:08 MN #980 to Southeast 2:01:41 MN deadhead #2904 to Southeast.
I'm surprised the BL20GH train wasn't the shuttle train and that the P32AC-DM train on the diesel portion of the Harlem Line wasn't a deadhead. Thanks for the notes.
It’s a quick turnaround for MN trains #943 & #980 up in Wassaic. The Mini Bomb set you met in Dover Plains ran up to Wassaic as MN #4949 to Wassaic from Southeast. It arrives Wassaic after MN #980 departs.
@SKWEEZY1000 Yes, I've noticed that a lot too, especially when I rode the Bay Head shuttle both ways. I have videos up of the rides if you want to watch.
First of all I cannot believe another live human being remembers the original chocolate sandwich video, let alone makes a parody of such a classic. I hope you live a long and prosperous life. Also where can I find the original video? Somebody please help me
2:18 is broken with the evidence (broken blade) still there…and you _”happen”_ to be there… YOU broke it and then acted as if it was _”out of control and dangerous “_
I never even touched that fan. Just that broken blade on the ground. If I did, the staff would have caught me and would have thrown me out. If you choose to believe that, that is your business.
38:42 incorrect Amtrak train. It’s Amtrak Lake Shore Limited #48 to New York Penn Station. 1:24:04 inccorect symbol. It’s MN #2850 deadhead from Poughkeepsie to Croton Harmon came off of MN #849. MN #851 short turns at Beacon and then deadheads back to the city as Metro North #2852 to become MN #883. 1:43:22 Actually Poughkeepsie IS a yard where some Metro North trains head depending on which assignment they’re on to be tied down and blue flagged for the night. The Metro North trains that head into Poughkeepsie Yard day and night are Metro North trains #809, #843, #853 (Mon - Thur), #4835 (Fri only), #857, #869, #877, #883, #891, #895, & #897. On weekends it’s Metro North trains #8841 (Sat only), #8845, #8847, #8855 (Sun only), #8867, #8871, & #8897. Hope that helps and hope you enjoyed your trip on Metro North #853 up to Poughkeepsie.
The sound you hear at the end is them putting on a handbrake. It's a pump style handbrake so they crank it on and then do a rollback test to test it by releasing all the brakes and seeing if it rolls. Then they release all the air and the engineer changes ends, charges back up and goes the other direction.
I don’t think Michael and Bridget shower very much either. They have poor hygiene right angry grandpa only good one on there or was any way to passed away.🤦🏼♀️
6002 wears a slightly older K5LA than 6004. #6002 isn't as loud here because #1 it's being sounded with Low-high sequences, and #2 the bonnets on the horn slightly mute it's volume. Hence why it's quieter. If you want the full volume of 6002 I'd suggest watching this ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-j1l39kC54Jo.htmlsi=GpFJ4IDPtFY71fyV
Interesting facts. I've seen that video a few times and it was impressive. Honestly, the horn in this clip may not be the best, but I'm cool with what I've caught. Luckily, I was able to catch 6002 with the engineer really laying down the horn here. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Cpn5Jxk268A.html
@@AaronTheEagle1 6002 & 6009 wear same order K5LAs both of which are 29K horns. The 6000 & 6004 also wear sister K5s both in the 30K range. The reason #6004 sounds the way it does is because it has a dead #5 bell which ended up doing so sometime around the 2006-2007 timeframe.
@@AirchimeLTDproductions174 Ah, gotcha. I appreciate you dropping that horn knowledge and informing me. Btw, how do you know so much about the style of horns.
@@AaronTheEagle1 Your welcome, I've been studying horns and whistles for the better part of ten years. And I also have a good network of sources made up of fellow collectors and railroad employees.
I’m currently trying to figure out what’s going on with 6004s horn. There is a clip of 6004 from 2004 at South Amboy, though I’m not sure the #5 is dead or not. I will say that the horn in the clip from 2004 didn’t have a noticeable warble between the 1 and 5.
Thanks so much for this video. I bought a whole fixture kit because it never occurred that it was only the bulb that needed to be changed. This was a Godsend. 😂
@@christophercancel934 Ahh, I appreciate the kind words. I also was planning on redoing it anyway just to get improved angles heading inbound to Hoboken and back.
