I did the upgrade and my circuit breaker keeps tripping. I tried a few other outlets and the same thing happens. Any thoughts on what could be happening?
This loin had a lot of marbling and Fat. GOING TO MAKE BACON OUT OF IT... 🥓🥓 Not Canadian Bacon. but bacon🥓🥓 Lion is the top of the ribs, and while pork belly is the bottom part of the ribs. So it should make bacon
No Kevin I didn't use anything under it, but a good thing to do is put a fireproof mat under it for sure. My gas grill had a shelf under the burners that I always kept a large cookie sheet on to keep any grease or anything from falling on the deck. Hi I just did an upgrade to the tempo element but cannot regulate the temp it goes to 280 degrees. Can this be done as when I do lox I like a cold smoke and like to set the temp at 130degrees. Can anyone help.
I am a novice to brisket preparation, let alone on a gas grill, but do you turn it at all? I didn't see you do that at all. Great video! Simple, and sounds delicious. Trying this evening.
mine was a bit dry, on the flat. Stopped at 165, wrapped it and then put it in until 202. Let it rest and then cut, but it was dry on the flat. Too much smoke? HELP.
Just so you know. The ad in the beginning about the hose nozzle, is complete lie. They showed to separate items. one is the hose attachment that you can buy at Lowes or Walmart etc for li $12 bucks and it is okay. The other you see is really a pressure washer, they just only show you the end to make you think otherwise!! Don't fall for it!
I was getting ready to order the 900 watt heater from your first video then I came across this video with two elements, which one do you like the best and are they both still working.
Yes both are still working fine. If I were making the modification again I would just make the 900 watt mod. It is easier and works as good as the dual 500 watt mod.
I added the second element, plugged it in and had power. When I attempted to turn on the burner I lost power to the smoke generator display. Could the inline fuse be bad? Should I replace the inline fuse and remove the second element I installed to see if it works again? Any suggestions I’d appreciate!
I loved your video! Do you have a slicer or just use a knife? Also, I’ve learned the hard way about food illnesses when working with raw meat. You had gloves on but you touched multiple items with dirty gloves. I try to keep one hand clean. I go through more gloves , but I save a lot on toilet paper as well as pain and suffering. Take care!
