American Catholic Vlogger living in Italy, on a perpetual journey to explore as many historical shrines as possible. Will you join me on my adventures?
I might be going to Italy for work for a week. I have felt compelled to become Catholic but first I want to pray at the shrine of a saint, or multiple saints, and ask for guidance. If I'm near him, I shall visit Saint Carlo Acutis and pray.
I was there in the last week of April 2024. Visited St. John Lateran Basilica, celebrated a Holy Mass inside the Basilica and lastly, climbed on my knees the Holy Stairs outside the Basilica. Thanks for sharing this.
I was wondering and, maybe you would know- is there an assumed “house of Saint John??” Obviously it would be in Jerusalem, but I figured you would know because of your holy research and works….. ❤❤❤ I wondered because isn’t that where Our Blessed MOTHER MARY lived after the Resurrection???🙏🏻💙🇺🇸💔🕊️
I haven’t been able to find anything specific about Saint John’s house in Jerusalem, but I do know that he and Our Lady moved up to Ephesus shortly after the crucifixion. There’s another little house out there that was recognized as Mary’s home by Pope Leo XII in 1896. Saint John would have lived there with Our Lady until his exile to the Island of Patmos.
VERY VERY WELL DONE!!!!! So awesome! 🎉 thank you 🙏🏻 ❤so much!!! Been playing this on LOOP for about 2 hours 😂 to help with the # of views LOL 😂 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 MAY GOD BLESS YOU even more!!!!❤❤❤
As an FSSP lay member, it warms my heart that while the church gives the FSSP all the run down old churches around the world, our people return them to glory and fill the pews. ❤ it’s sad that all the newer beautiful churches and old cathedrals do not allow the celebration of Catholic mass anymore. Perhaps if they did many would be in the pews as in centuries past.

Thank you so much for the series. I have watched the entire series from the beginning and have always looked forward to the next episode. I have visited many of the places, but the time I was in Rome St. Peter’s was closed due to a Mass the Pope was celebrating. Did get to visit the museum and the Sistine Chapel and an audience with Pope Francis in the square. We’ll done series.
Very nice video. I once visited the chapel of the Holy Shroud 11 years ago, but did not see the palace with the museum and the gardens. What a magnificent place!
I visited Venice in 2014 and as you mentioned I like most tourists overlooked visiting this church. I thank you for sharing for now I got to see St. Lucy.
