Are you asking how the openpilot system cost ? The comma C3,$1250, car harness $200, software, open source, no cost, and a lot of time working with the coder multikyd.
I have 2014 Genesis, in South Korea, maybe such same with your 2015 Genesis in US, and I'm planning to try OpenPilot. But there's no ACC, LKAS on my car, so may I ask you which trim your car based on, and which harness, build, branch are you doing this, plz?
@@dfyffe581 Thx a lot!! I found some community about kisapilot and opkr, but can you explain me about SmartMDPS? Does smart mdps require some special harness, or can be done with normal Hyundai J harness?
All you need is a little wiring skills, for more details check here... genesisowners.com/genesis-forum/threads/2015-genesis-led-strip-as-bright-drl-instead-of-amber.26627/page-3#post-430072
Yes, it was inspired by my love for technology, and the love of the HUD feature in my Genesis, and while watching the in-car dashcam video, the idea just popped in my head, and I used Vegas Pro software to mix both video together.
@@dfyffe581 Did you generate the replay yourself or does OPKR record the screen for you? I just need to get GPU acceleration setup with OpenPilot replay on my desktop so I can get crisp footage of the UI in realtime, then I'm totally doing a video or two like this :)

No mod was done to the c2 harness, plug and play, the only optional mod I did was adding a smart mdps that allows openpilot steering down to 0 mph, without the smart mdps, my car only lkas steer above 35mph.
Ok, now I am un-jealous. :) I installed openpilot two days ago. I was on the road self driving in less than 15 minutes (no wires tucked in) using the default fork.
This is just 14 min of a hour and half drive with openpilot. The speed change from green to red on the comma 2 screen in the lower right of the video to indicate openpilot braking. This selfdrive technology has improved so much in the last few months, and it will only get better.
I was able to complete my DRL/Turn mod using switchback led and V6Triton HDRL controller and 12V Delay Relay Shield NE555 Timer Switch Adjustable Module, parts cost approx $75, I kept the stock setup amber turn signal but with white drl on my 2015 Ultimate 3.8, This needed this extra parts because the 2015 Genesis Ultimate model have a DRL pulse 12v that cause your led bulb to flicker.
