People are fed up with 2 party system. RFK can and will win kennedy is the remedy healing badly needed... Vote Trump or Biden if you want division. Vote RFK if you want unity.
No. Im 💯 sure that fletcher took it because in the earlier scene, he said ''if i saw this laying around, i will stop being so polite''. Watch it again i also didnt notice it in my first time watching
Around 5mins in and we have an Afrikaner man feeling that he has to explain his heritage and his reason for being in South Africa. Absolutely pathetic! No Afrikaner should be made to feel that they need to explain anything to anyone regarding their presence in South Africa. South Africa is watered with the blood, soul, and spirit of the Boers! The real thief’s of the land are the ANC! But unfortunately the traitor and coward FW de Klerk sold the Afrikaner nation down the river!
Thanks for the comment! To my knowledge he is not a Catholic, but his writing of the priest reveals a mind that is intimate with Catholicism, in my opinion :)
@@dylangous He's awesome. I actually thought of doing similar stuff before, original music with some of his speeches, but for now I'm, as you can see, just doing the music (AI generated). We'll see, maybe I'll do something similar.
What do Afrikanners think about what is going on in other African countries that are kicking out the westerners and inviting the Russians in? Many of these countries have suffered under colonialism and terrorism. It seems like the Russians are actually helping them stop terrorism at least.
I loved 4 of the tales so much. The other two didn’t really do it for me, but I guess that was bound to happen since all stories had vastly different genres.
Psychedelics also induced these 'delusions of grandeur' in me and some of my friends. I still love thinking back to how awesome the trips were and the feelings and thoughts I went through at that time, but I've also started to view these drugs very differently. At one point I've experienced psychosis in my life and in hindsight, the bouts of 'wisdom' while tripping seem psychotic to me. I won't judge anyone who says they believe to have unlocked some knowledge or whatever, but I try to not put too much importance on these moments nowadays. Your channel is a gem mate, love to see your videos pop up every once in a while.
I don't think fletcher did a good job, you can get a lot of superficial gain but if you aren't healthy and happy inside is it worth it? Andrew is in this trap of going beyond his limits just to impress people and prove them wrong
The biblical "Tree of Life" is the tree that produces fruit for physical sustenance (fruit, vegetables, nuts...). The biblical "Tree of Knowledge" is the tree that produces fruit for spiritual sustenance (cannabis, Banisteriopsis caapi/Psychotria viridis - DMT, Opium poppy, Salvia Divinorum, Iboga, Acacia...). "When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it" - Genesis 3:6 Spiritually speaking (gender and race aside), patriarchy ends, and matriarchy begins with a fundamental understanding of the cyclical nature of reality (God). Represented by the snake in many creation myths, the living cycle has a trinity of a beginning (head), a middle and end (tail). As above so below, the sexes were created in the image of God's cyclical nature where Mother is the head and opening to all beginnings and Father holds the tail to all endings (through which the sowing of seeds allow for the next great matriarchal rebirth). The joining of the two (symbolized by the Ouroborus or the marriage ring) is the sacred union needed in assuring the creation and continuation of new life cycles. To speak of the present day God as "Our Father" is simply an admission to our collective positioning within the bigger cycle. As all mothers have direct experience with the creator quality of birthing, so is the direct experience of rebirthing the divinity within (baptism) belong to that which is spiritually matriarchal. (John 3, verse 3-8). Sekhmet statues (ancient Egyptian) carry most of their weight in symbolic memory of what was a mother culture dedicated to the direct experience of baptism. As the leg shaped hairlocks extend from maternal breasts to the womb of rebirth, the lioness's head proportions are such that they highlight the bust of a second animal figure. The Lioness's ears as eyes and eyes as nose (nostrils) brings to life the figure of a reptile. 'Neath the halo headress of the solar egg, the lioness's egg fertilization process being internal (Set) and the reptile's egg fertilization process being external (Setting), such being key components to the safety of entering the trans-egoic or "born again" state. The life threatening fear associated with the predatory nature of a lion and/or crocodile encounter are reflective of the intense ego death experiences associated with the transpersonal awakening process. In spiritually matriarchal times, illumination could be seen as wearing the false beard (ancient Egyptian funerary "ego" death mask) as the high state of cyclical self knowing; high awareness of both our upper matriarchal half and our lower (later) patriarchal half (compared with a mini lower body replica, an "as above so below" tail end beard extension); in full recognition of her civilizational Underworld; her inevitable cyclical destiny. The male pharaoh wears his beard tapered in reverse, indicating a pointing upwards towards the patriarchal head, divine representative of God's tail end cycle. Mary's anointing and wiping of Jesus's feet with her hair can then be seen as "Head to tail" (toe) imagery as she descends her matriarchal head to his patriarchal feet, thus reenacting the high understanding of the divine cyclical process. (John 12, verse 3) To carry the Ankh (now the female symbol ♀️) was perhaps to symbolically carry that upper and lower understanding. As the upper matriarchal womb symbolised the fertile birthing of civilization, below, the now Christian cross is carried to place emphasis on the lower (later) "End Times" Father principle of the great cycle. Lord Ganesha, the elephant headed Hindu diety, displays a cyclical head to trunk symbolism and points to the Mother head of his matriarchal elephant society. Ganesha (like the elephant) wears God's cyclical nature on his face. A whole temple was dedicated to Hathor (ancient Egyptian diety), who is the matriarchal "Uterus" personified. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-J0m0zJSEFK0.html "See all women as mothers, serve them as your mother. when you see the entire world as the mother, the ego falls away. See everything as Mother and you will know God." - Neem Karoli Baba "My son, keep thy father's commandment and forsake not the law of thy mother" - Proverbs 6 : 20
Besides Tanner's reaction, I think another reason why he may not have hidden it is because up to that point he had no reason to believe that Andrew would take his spot. Fletcher had only berated Andrew so it's unlikely that Tanner would've felt threatened by him. As for Whiplash, I personally like to think the end as more tragic. Andrew may've finally won respect in Fletcher's eyes, but given the latter's unpredictability, I don't think it'll last and he may just start being vengeful or abusive again. Andrew got his success, but it cost him his life, his identity as a person.
"And I was in my room. And my room was dirty, obviously, because I wasn't Christian yet" 😂😂😂 Aint that a metaphor for Christianity. Rooms dont just stay clean. 👏
I can lose my life. So, I am not my life. Thus my life is not me, alive, it is dead. Can a key lose itself and not be where it is? I am a pulse, not a body, and so my pulse going away is me going away. And I, the pulse, am alive. Hence, my body is not alive. I make the dead, my body, walk. A pulse is life. So in between each pulsation I am dead, and come back to life. There is a flatline in between each pulse. So I'm dead and come back to life numerous times throughout the day. When my pulse peaks I am living, and when it is flat I am dead. So when it is in between those two, not at the top or bottom, I am the living dead.
You blew it man you blew it. The folder is the symbol that was thrown at Charlie Parker and Fletcher is doing the same thing. When his dad hugs him he knows then that good job is bullshit. That's when he goes back and raises his complete drum game up to the ultimate level and Fletcher does have his Charlie Parker and he's a white boy that plays drums. The symbol is actually a symbol metaphorically physically part of a drum set that completes one hell of a solo!!!!
plus Fletcher didn't get to say he chose Neiman or whatever, it's just that he happened to be, which is a great way to manipulate someone to think they're not good enough
After something happens it is the past. The present is not the past. So the present has not happened. The past is the timeline. The present is not finished, not done, not formed, not on the timeline. It is outside of time.
Once the present forms and isn't a work in progress any longer, it will then work reasonably for us. Time exists. It works and is dead and unable to do the job of being unreasonable, a dead thing with a purpose it's working toward.
I spent my teens in Zambia and my teens in Cape Town. But since then in the UK and now in my 60s. Quite a big part of me will always be Capetonian - not so much South African, but definitely I connected deeply with The Cape and that persists. It's painful to see the steady degeneration into failed state and degeneration.
If you've ever spent time away from a distant home, and you're queer, you'll know what this means. Feeling a part of something but separate, feeling the joy of coming home but not able to be, feeling the need to be, but knowing you can't
A billion years of danger, and the earth, sun and moon are still intact and on course? A universe that makes its own rules, and it makes a rule that it can make a big bang and atoms in no time, and a rule in no time, and space in no time, but that it has to wait a billion years to make a bird? Time is more complicated than a bird, and it took no time for the universe to make time. So making a bird would be childsplay for the universe. It would take half the time it took for it to make time for it to make a bird.
Men in flying machines is amazing (my pal at an airshow yesterday said mind blowing). It's not natural. It is unlike the rest of nature and jungles and forests and rocks and animals and plants. It looks like a cartoon. It has a saint look to it, an angelic feel and appearance. Nature don't look like a cartoon. It looks like a train track. It's on course like dinosaur ribs. A dinosaur looks like a monster from a cartoon. You don't fall asleep all at once, you grow weary throughout the day and become less and less with us as time goes by, and go into an rem state, and then into other versions of sleep. So you are not fully awake all day as you're working and at work and home, and there are states, stages, of wakefulness and you are not awake all at once, but wake up more and more as the day gets going and carries on.
Another aspect to keep in mind when discussing ancient vs. modern views of reality is that our very experience of life is different. People used to see giant angels appear by the altar during the transubstantiation of the Latin Mass. And religious practices all over the world BEFORE the incarnation were based on interacting with BEINGS who existed (and still exist) and who were more directly experienced than they are now. That's what is meant by a creation that is alive versus a creation that is dead matter. I think we're swinging back towards the realization that the creation is alive and that it is alive with beings from the macrocosmic to the microcosmic; beings who are above us, with us, and below us. Ancient symbolism was not made up in an attempt to understand the world, rather it is an attempt to depict actual spiritual experience. For example, if someone had a vision of a spiritual being who presented itself as feminine, with a golden aura, wearing a full-length garment that was deep blue, that had the starry firmament WITHIN the garment, that is the stars were alive IN the garment, then an artist might do his/her best to re-create that by painting the garment a deep blue and placing stars on the garment. But those stars are not merely a symbol of what the figure is about, although they are that, but they are as accurate a depiction of how that being presented herself to humans. That is what she looks like.
If you do take grams of dried something it makes it better though. Listening to third eye especially, it sounds much different, wasn't scary or harsh just comforting, and goes on forever and in a flash all st once. Also druggy songs dont mean stupid songs, psychedelics are used to explore the human mind, human interpersonal connection and so on.
I have been listening to TOOL for 20 years, and i found it very interesting that they released an album called Fear Inoculum just a few months before a worldwide pandemic and inoculation , as well as constant fear mongering.
I remember having the same thought back then. There are so many lyrics that apply to the situation. My wife, who I introduced to TOOL, and now loves them, seems to think they are in the know.
This is conspiratorial nonsense. Fear inoculum is obviously just a way to say fear mongering. They aren't telling the future they aren't part of the new world order, calm down.
Danny Carey’s father is a master Mason, Maynard comes from a military background, and Adam Jones was a Hollywood FX artist… they are definitely in the know.
@briankumm5510 that is a very interesting connection. I knew all these things, but didn't put the pieces together until now. Now we know how the pieces fit
I think you just missed the point of the movie, it's not about perseverence. It's about the price of perseverence, the cost of being great. The ending is the cutting of the umbilical chord between Andrew and his father in his way of behaving and living life. Now, the ending is open to interpretation: was it worth it? Losing friends, girlfriend, family, expending all that time and blood? It's up to the viewer to choose Fletcher's smile or the father's shock and fear about what Andrew has become.
As an Orthodox Christian, the main reason I can continue to admire Chesterton, a Catholic, is that everything that he says about the Catholic Church I generally find true about the Orthodox Church. Almost everything he says, is like, check, check, check, check. and I say this, not in any triumphalistic way, but having seen the very worst of the Church hierarchy and still having to believe.
Maybe Tanner did take the folder. He might have act surprised and scare ando so what? maybe he figured it was his chance of getting rid of Andrew and don't you think is weird later in the movie when their about to play and fletcher is yelling at Andrew and says "The only reason you're in studio band is because you misplaced a folder", and in that moment the camera focuses Tanner...?
@@dylangous Going in I expected to enjoy the priests tale the most and as much as I enjoyed that tale (and how utterly bizarre and weird it was) I came to adore the tales of the poet, scholar and consul the most.
The Afrikaners need a homeland to continue to exist in South Africa and protect, preserve and promote their unique identity and culture. Only then can they continue to make a positive contribution to the welfare of everyone in SA. Without a homeland, a powerbase from which to operate, the whites/Afrikaners are always liable to aggression from whatever bunch of ANC gangsters happen to be in power. "Diversity" and "multiculturalism" are failing in all Western societies so why should SA be any different. The reality is that the broadly homogeneous state, based on Aristotle's doctrine of "philia" or fellow citizenship that binds a society together in a common bond of identity and patriotism, will be come the political template for the 21st century for that is the nature of politics and human affairs.
