In order to maximise the rotational grip of the pulley system, I am curious to know why you didn't fully wrap the cable 360° around the driven pulleys?

Been in hyd industry for 20 years and can tell you that electric will never replace hydraulic/pneumatic actuators. And I talk for not toys but for serios machines. Reliability is what keep people use hyd. is the only that works in mining and other extreame applications. Hyd is much more simple than those complicate vector controller's, you can also have pure mechanically controlls with no electrical power at all. Around 2MW is the limit today. For machine below 5kW and no shock loads electric is to be preferred, mobil machines with combustion engine is hydralics as is the most efficient system that beat electrical in partial loads condition. DC PMM are not so efficient below 80% and all other electronics around... for those smal robots is obviously electrics but this is fraction of what is out there.

I follow your channel where you post very good videos. Unfortunately I have not found any new videos lately. i will be doing more robot development and will be using Jeston Orin Nano for it. I know you are basically testing , building building blocks. However I would be interested in a more complex project if you are interested. For example building a humanoid robot, choosing motor elements etc. I am currently developing a camera-sensing lawn mowing robot :)

I used to get rid of the motor control sound by increasing the pwm frequency on Arduino. Would the same method apply here as well?

The jetson agx Orin, Can you test stable diffusion. And also a good video editing program like di Vinci. The ai suggest that you can run both on there. I have an old laptop and where as I’m not concerned with playing high end games it looks like this may be a good purchase to consider LLM running locally, stable diffusion, and general video editing 4k video for example.

Hello skyentific. Great work! I wanted some guidance from you. Currently Im working on the newer version of th3se motors ( GIM 8115-9 ) without a nucleo board (for firmware debug) I used an STlink instead. However, neither tera term nor SSCOM ( debugging software provided by the chinese company) are showing me the debugging settings ( for e.g m- motor mode etc) even though the stlink dongle is being recognized by my laptop. But unlike your plug and play. My tera term etc simply arent showing me the serial ports.please help me out. Or any one else who could help me with this?

Amber Robotics team, this is a final wake-up call, we backers have been patient with you enough.
