The tutorial makes working this very simple. ❤ One question, once you block the sweater do you have to reblock it very time you wash it.
@AshleyLillisKnits
@AshleyLillisKnits 10 часов назад
@@TammyN83 yes, you do…. But you can just stretch it out in a towel if you don’t want to pin it!

I just wanted to thank you. I took up knitting about 3 weeks ago when the Olympics started and after completing a scarf and hat I thought I would try a sweater and your pattern and tutorial were just AWESOME. I did this sweater in less than a week and couldn't have done it without your guidance. Thanks so much

What size are the bigger needles please. I seem to catch it. Smaller are 9mm are the bigger ones 12mm?? I started the eyelet cardigan a couple of years ago but I ran out of yarn and that yarn must be discontinued so I can’t finish it 😢 I was thinking to use some lilac yarn and do it multi coloured. But I might be able to knit this instead. I can’t believe it I only had one sleeve and the picking up bands to do as well.🤍

Thanks for explaining how you do shaping! I enjoy the engineering of knit and more recently crochet. There was an old-fashioned knit baby blanket which used a lot of "Purl Through The Back Loop" stitches. My now 100 year old great aunt gave me the pattern. It is a fiddly stitch to work! But it made a beautiful twisted stitch that looked great in the blanket. It had a lot of k2tog and yo on the diagonals, blocks framed by the columns of twisted stitches. The first 5 to 7 blankets i had to count all the time, now i can do it without all the counting. My favorite tricky baby blanket pattern. Same great aunt made a simple blanket when mom was expecting me and i reverse engineered the pattern since my great aunt did not recall the pattern. Hardest part is remembering to switch from border to block sections, so easy to just get into a pattern section and keep doing that repeat. 🙊

I saw that after the collar ribbing we had to do 1 knit row, 1 increase and decrease, but i accidentally mixed them up and i did half knit half increase and now its all messed up. Im only 4 rows into the actual sweater, could i just get back on track with my stitch numbers, or should i redo it?

This is really neat! If one chose to use this increase on an existing pattern, would one need to add more stitches between markers on the setup row or simply place the markers further apart at the appropriate places?

Thank you for your generous heart! Am a beginner knitter and started and almost completed doing the Fall Bluff sweater of yours…your instructions are very clear and precise. I am finding myself doing something I’ve never imagined I could do, knitting! I would have never imagined myself actually knitting a sweater!!! God bless your heart for sharing your skills, for this I’ve subscribed…. Could you, maybe post a tutorial on knitting a “lacy but light” sweater for spring? Thank you🥰
