I have a PNB platinum card. While getting the card it was a troublesome, video kyc was hard, even on mail they asked for form 16, it return and then my card was approved without any PNB savings account. The experience is good until recent when I tried to close my some EMIs on the card, in PNB it is not possible through their official application or phonecall, rather you have to send a mail to them for it. I sent mail, it took around 6-7 days for the foreclosure. Bill got generated inbetween. Calling customer care was not a good experience as they were telling email not received. Had to escalate to service manager I guess, not useful, and inbetween the chaos, the EMIs were closed.
Bro i have applied for pnb card, with all physical documentation in between they lost my all documents and after 10 months i got message that my card is approved and will be deliver soon. 😂 I got pnb credit card after 10 months
Same case with me when rupay card first time launched, yes brother you are right, if you want to apply for card you will have to go now offline mode , they will send your form head office card processing yes they consider only itr acknowledgement copy for process , after approval you will get scan copy of your offline form via email and card approved this form should be sent via branch only due to kyc purpose, I dont have any saving account with pnb.
Asa tab hota h jab apka vkyc ka link nahi aata h so vkyc pending rahta h, ager apka account hota h bank m toh vkyc nahi hota h direct card processing ke liye chala jata h card approved bhi hota h
If anyone having Rejected credit card application pending from PNB you can simply raise the dispute in cibil portal PNB will remove your enquiry from your CIBIL history no matter how old ur enquiry u hv.
I'm in that defacto "cooling period"(application already exists) of PNB since 2022 and have recently asked them to clear my last reference number/lead from their system which is causing this issue of not able to re apply and guess what? they don't even understand that conceptually such error could even exist, they are so confused as if I'm asking them to decipher some alien language :D and it's not only PNB per se BoB, Indian bank and other PSU banks have this exact same issue, once applied you cannot re apply no matter if your card application was approved or decline 😕

Hi Sir, I have been using Select credit card for the past year. initially, the card was excellent, but following the devaluation in April 2024, this card no longer provides many perks 🥹 The milestone and cap limits have been increased, and BigBasket and other discounts are no longer applicable 😕 Only positive things are priority pass & Golf access 🙂
Got the invitation for the upgrade to plat charge. Do u think it makes sense to use it for a year? They are offering 130k points or something around that range.

Sir, my current address and my aadhar address are different and applied for amex. But its rejected because of address difference, is there no chance for approval?
Cibil score is only for approval of loan in System but after approval only 10% loan or Credit card disbursement in these days- My 10 Secured & Unsecured Loans & Cards are rejected in 3 months even after approval - Cibil Score- 790
What if you only do multiple of 10k GYFTR purchase on Plat Travel till 4L milestone? & 6k/m on Gold & 20k/m on MRCC Will it raise flags on Amex? I use Amex only for GYFTR GV related spends & no other spends
As an American express fanboy recently I am also experiencing the acceptability issues a lot. I agree with the in hand feel and overall feeling of holding the card but the acceptability, the fluidity and the overall experience of purchasing affects the overall experience in some way or the other.
DCB is overrated and also suffers from the problem of acceptance. For online payments, you just need sbi cashback card for offline payments you can use any other premium(like sc ultimate) and you are done!
Dcb metal is overrated especially because of its terrible acceptability. I would recommend yes bank marquee over it. Or you can use sbi cashback for online spends together with sc ultimate for offline spends.
