Agree with your findings and validation. Got my first Amex card last week, MRCC with 5lk limit and no income documents asked. Seems like it was approved just based on credit score and details filled in the application.

Here is my experience. I applied for MRCC and they said they will send an email and I need to reply with my salary slip. That verification mail never came. I kept following up with them for 1 week that I didn't get the mail and after that, they just approved my card and I didn't need to send any income docs. But my eligibility was on point. My income is way above the 6 LPA mark, I reside in an eligible city and already have a different credit card with a history of 2 years. My cibil score is also not the greatest but decent at 776

This isn't something new. However a correction here : C2C works for plat charge with a limit of 4L too , 10 lakhs is not required. However, there are a certain list of cards which are eligible for C2C mostly super premium cards, list is dynamic and keeps changing.

I really appreciate your efforts to improve the delivery of the content. I remember mentioning about the thumbnail and now they are pretty much great! @@Thecreditcardlife I got an email from AMEX asking if i want to upgrade my Gold Charge to Platinum Charge and 135,000 points offer. I replied to the email with confirmation of offer. A day later I got some Amex Notification as my card is processed and when I opened the app, my gold card was changed as Plat Charge. Its being delivered currently and will get it by end of month.
