Come with us as we pursue giant catfish from the lakes of the central plains. We will take you on a journey of catching blue catfish, flathead catfish, channel catfish, as well as crappie, white bass, bluegill, and an occasional hybrid/striper. We think you will enjoy the back-and-forth husband/wife banter and our competitive nature. You will also get to see how we prepare for, as well as the actual competitions of modern-day catfishing tournaments.
I am sitting in Ft Worth waiting out a storm watching your video. I am glad I ran across your channel and just subscribed. Watching this makes me want to get out there and hit the blues. Are you fishing out of a Seaark Protege? Nice boat
I love watching your videos. Thank you for all the good content and sharing. I don't recall seeing a video on your boat and the setup you have on it. Would it be possible to make a video on it please. Thank you aging and please keep the videos coming.
My dad use to camp on the end of 71st out of broken arrow on the verdigris river and he caught tons of catfish. But 1 day a old man unloaded his little tin boat and went up in the cove Hooke up to a tree fishing minding his own business. It was way to cold but 2 guys put jet skies in and took off. They drove up that cove kinda easy but they was cooking on their way out. What they did was went by the old man real friendly but turned around and jetted the old man soaking wet. My dad knew something was wrong watching him load his boat. He pulled up next to their car got out and stabbed 6 tires. When they come in they asked my dad if he saw who did and he said nope good luck
Still wondering why y'all don't really move lakes much. Oklahoma has the most man made lakes in the nation, why waste our time and yours catching the same fish at the same lake everyday. That makes it hard on other people who want to fish there too because you are beating those fish to death using your maximum rod limit in a boat. I was a fan, no more.
Hey Chad, thanks for watching our videos. I always appreciate comments. I don't know where you are from, so I am going to respond to your comment like you are not from Oklahoma and therefore are not familiar with our rules and regulations. In Oklahoma we are allowed to fish with 7 rods per person. I only have 10 rod holders on the back of my boat, and since I almost always fish with my wire it would be a very rare occasion that we fished with the maximum amount of rods...........as in NEVER. The next item of you comment addressed why we don't fish other lakes that often. I looked at our videos to check and we fish lakes other than Kaw almost 40% of the time. I would like to say you are wrong, but that is not the case. The truth is that I live just a few miles from Kaw lake, and if you look close at my set-up you will notice that I'm fishing out of an older boat. I'm not trying to say that we are poor, because I've been poor, but we are definitely not wealthy. So we have to try to make these trips as cost efficient as possible. The third item that you referred to was that we are beating up on the fish. I can assure you my friend that is not the case. Because I have a Job, I'm only allowed to fish 7 or 8 days a month. I would say the maximum amount of time that I spend on Kaw is 5 or 6 days a month, and once again that is because it is my home lake........I cant afford to drive anywhere else to make videos that I dont get paid one cent to make. Finally you said that I am wasting your and my time. This is the part that I take exception to. I can assure you that I am not wasting MY time because I LOVE FISHING for catfish. If you read through the comments you will notice that there are some people that are not as fortunate as we are and for some reason or another they are not able to go fishing. Those are the people that I think about every time I spend 3 hours catching bait, 10 hours fishing, and 5 hours editing videos each week.......for no pay. I do this because its something that my wife and I do together and we love reading the comments of the people who appreciate it. It makes me feel good. I really hate the fact that you think I wasted your time, because it is the most precious thing that we have. I hope you keep watching the videos and I am truly sorry that I disappointed you. Just to let you know that I really am concerned about what you have said, I wont post a video this week. I wouldn't want to waste anyone's time. Thanks for watching our videos. Hope we can do a better for you in the future
@@CatfishCowboy69 I'm glad you have fun fishing, believe me I fish all the time however I do have the advantage of being south of you( okc/metro born and raised) so I can mix it up almost every day without driving more than an hour. I'm sorry to have offended you, my thoughts were leaning more towards wanting a better representation for our waters and people but that's not your responsibility. Even so, carry on and I'll try to be more understanding.
@@CatfishCowboy69 We have recently moved to Kaw City, and have become avid fans of your videos...we've seen your videos from other lakes around the state, but our favorites are the ones from the mighty Kaw. This is kind of like a schooling for us and we really appreciate it...we hope to meet yall someday.....Take care and God bless
Yall like me I keep 5 to 10 lb also big enough to get some meat off of them but them bigger then 10 are going to grow up to make some good breeders for the future fisherman/women
Love your videos brother, we are new to Kaw City and are going to try it, just like you"'re doin it, I've caught the big ones noodling but never a big one on a rod and reel...if we have half as much luck as you we'll be more than happy. I totally agree, another fisherman wouldnt be acting like that....
I grew up noodling. Just loved it as a young man. If you just apply yourself you will have great success on Kaw lake. It really is an awesome lake full of shad. If you see that old beat up SEAARk on the lake, make sure to say hello. We love talking to viewers.......puts a face to comments. Im serious......if you see us come say hello. Thanks for watching
That Coon Creek area really is great. Nothing like having them hit those rods in shallow water. If you see us out there please say hello. You guys really are the reason we do this. Thanks for watching
I hear you buddy. Kayaking I deal with boaters who absolutely don't care about nobody's safety, some are young some old age don't matter. But there are still some that are kind and thoughtful. Thank you for posting another good video.
You are exactly right my friend. I probably shouldn't have came down on that guy so much.....I don't own the lake, and there are good people of all ages. Thanks for watching and I will do my best to stay positive. There are a lot of people in this world that would love to be able to fish. I should count my blessings
Congrats on your daughter wedding! Miss Ruby😢 Glad y’all drove back - awesome action that day. Can’t wait til you tell the “secret” LOL. Keep the vid’s coming.
First off I like to say congratulations to y’all’s, daughter and new son-in-law. Also would like to say how much I really enjoy watching y’all’s fish and your videos y’all are the best, but I really enjoy that OSU T-Shirt. Thanks for another great video.
Ooopps I can't say that. That was funny Danita(sp). Great video guys. This influx of rain will have those blues feeding in the willows on the north end of Oolagah. Just saying, lol.
