In this video I show you how we set up our DIY bait tank. It's an easy to find horse/cattle tank along with a pond pump and filter kit for circulation and a separate aerator system. The links for the pump and aerator are below.
We also head out to our local lake and catch a few bluegill to put in it. Like and subscribe so you don't miss future videos.

If there is anything I can do to help, just let me know. Thanks for watching. Give me a shout if you see me out there. Good luck

Our city water don't kill my bluegill, crappie don't do to good itn it though

That is correct. Some cities dont have enough chlorine to affect Bluegill. They seem to be a little tougher than some other fish. Thanks for watching. Please keep leaving the comments. I enjoy the feedback

How much salt would you add to a tank that size for shad?
@CatfishCowboy69

I like to use a cup for every 12 gallons of water. Don't ask me how I came up with that number, but it seems to work for me. Feels like I need more salt as it gets warmer and less during the winter. That salt is hard on the equipment, but it really is a difference maker. Thanks for watching and I love the questions. Hope it helps my friend
