Welcome to my channel! My goal is to provide business videos that enrich your business skills and expertise. I hope you learn something new or refreshes your memory in each and every video.
I love business strategy. I have experience in investment banking (Bear Stearns), management consulting (McKinsey and BCG), corporate management, asset management (Bernstein Value Equities), private equity, and briefly with a start-up hedge fund. I have a MS in electrical engineering from Stanford and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
I found your video helpful for my speech for my Comm101 class, but it fell short in being able to show where you got your sources. For any documentary/speech its good to cite your sources in the description, but overall great work. if you do have any helpful links to some of your sources, it would be greatly apricated for my outline.
NO it's not Delivery issues ( Domino's is still the only chain that emphasizes delivery) or innovative products. Pizza Hut is not a computer tech company. It's not a car being discussed. The reason people like me and others who grew up with Pizza Hut stopped buying it was that the pizza quality and consistency both went way down. They downgraded their pepperoni ( which now tastes like greased, salted dogfood); stopped making fresh crusts; stopped using fresh veggies... Yum brands is the worst food companybin the USA and ruined KFC first; then ruined Pizza Hut
Bro you just wasted my time, I am looking for business strategies that I can learn from, how to make my business experience memorable for my clients as RR does for it's clients, you outchea telling me about RR history which i know already Mxm useless

Simple: SEGA's third party dev support was meant to compete with NINTENDO only. Even after Kalinske told Nakayama and SoJ that they couldn't keep being just 10% ahead of NINTENDO, the arcade giant continued bringing out expensive consoles, addons, and portables that were only a little bit more powerful using the Gilette model. Yet while SEGA would lose $10-20 per console, SONY--which had their own fab labs, CD-ROM production, power adapters, sound chips, etc--was a force of nature and was happy to lose $100 per console and even help retailers. When they sold a PlayStation, they made $80-100. When they sold a Saturn, they made $6. Anyone who walked into a retail store in those days saw amazing demo units then. Basically, Tom Kalinske (and Michael Katz) had built up great relationships with celebrities, gaming enthusiasts, developers, accessory makers, and the gaming press. SoJ ignored his many warnings and deliberately sabotaged SEGA of America to make us look bad and SoJ look good. The arcade giant imploded from within and drove away everyone who'd worked and slaved away so hard to help this underdog break the NINTENDO juggernaut.
The moment Pixza Hut changed the ingredients of their pizzas that was the end of Pizza Hut’s dominance. Their pizza tastes like crap now and they have never recovered fully since.
@@10-minutebusinessinsights $15 for a subway sandwhich. I usually end up going ti Jersey Mike’s or Firehouse now, Sure I end up paying $17 or so, but i get like 3 times more meat.
The genesis is a classic. But when the Saturn came out, it couldn’t compete with PlayStation or N64. Same with Dreamcast, couldn’t rival PS2 or Xbox. Sadly, Sega’s been lost in time, a retired classic along with Atari.
Pizza Hut pizza is absolute trash now. Its sad. Not to mention the 1970's/80's dine-in experience was the best. Casual, fun (they had arcade games and jukeboxes for crying out loud!), etc. It was the perfect place for teens on a date....families Friday night after the football game...etc...etc.
In the 60's, when fast food restaurants and regular restaurants started to franchise across the US, RC Cola put in bids to be the soft drink in their restaurants. But they lost out to both Coke and Pepsi.
The biggest Problem of SEGA was that their "Core Hardware" was always a "watered down" Hardware from their Arcades.... With the 32x as also the SEGA CD which werent originally made for the Arcade market they shoot themselfs in the foot the very first time and angered 3rd Party developers. To be clear - that were "Gimmicks" from SEGA US not SEGA JP. Then the Saturn came - a copy of their TITAN System, they did money with the Arcade System but 3rd Parties hated that System because how complicated it was to develop 3D Titles where Sony thanks also to NAMCO had a "big foot" in. (there it was the other way around... NAMCO helped sony with devloping the Playstation which BECAME AFTERWARDS the "NAMCO System 11" which ran for example Time Crisis) Then the NAOMI came around which was the base of the Dreamcast - after that they "REALLY" botched a Hardware release named Hikaru, it had an absolute awesome, mindblowing custom 3D Solution but they botched the Manifacturing of the Boards (not alot are out there anymore because they destroy themselfs basically) so they made a NAOMI 2 which was not really a new Tech, just an update of NAOMI. After the development of Chihiro (which was the OG XBOX) it made no sense anymore for SEGA, because they were back then "Technology Engeneers" - and from that point on Arcades became PC Systems - it simply wasnt feaseable anymore for SEGA in Particular since they are "by heart and tradition" an Public Entertainment Company (SErvice GAmes) and they knew they will never get a Step anymore in the "global Market" because 3rd Parties didnt want develop anymore for SEGA Hardware. Not to speak about the "wars" between SEGA US and SEGA JP - thanks also to this disgusting creature Peter Moore who later changed from SEGA to Microsoft while developing of the OG XBOX (where SEGA was involved) And from that time on every Arcade even from SEGA was basically a PC. It made from a "Future Prespective" no sense anymore
Jared was always encouraging everybody to try his favorite that tuna sub.... wait what ? Spelled backwards it's 🍳 Bus a nut🍳 .......... IRONIC...........
I tell you why, 3 words of competition. “ Nintendo” “ “PlayStation” and “Microsoft”, meant the end of Sega exclusive consoles. the only way for Sega to survive was to become multi platform.
