Tying braid directly to a pike lure? Seriously? Have you no decency? It's beyond me how anyone in their right mind would put a lure in a body of water holding pike without taking the necessary precautions. Let alone when deliberately targeting them. And great job having your dog lick off their protection against fungi and bacteria.
Heck ya brother, we fished a similar area, I remember seeing you and Toshi out there! Such a great event. Look forward to next year. Keep it up brother! Loved Toshi celebratory swim too!
I had to stop the video. I laughed so hard when she jumped off. Oh my, My Black lab, George, is going to want to get in and out but mostly in the water. Sorry, I digressed, lets continue. Hahaha, sit down? No, I want to play. I love her. 4:03 I really love her. I can't stop laughing. God, I love her. It is funny when it is someone else's dog. This was the best
They are trying to see if you had battery power. Lol They would have asked to see ur boat operator license if the kayak was motor propelled. Nice to see Toshi enjoying time out on the water with you!
@@LeGrandBleueti thought in Ontario you did not need Any pleasure craft that is equipped, even temporarily, with one or more engines whose total power is at least 10 horsepower (7.5 kW) or more in Canada, must have. Anything less and you don't need operator license..i might be wrong.
thank you. 😊👍 i will get one. If your kayak was trolling motor powered would need the boating license.?I thought in Ontario Any pleasure craft that is equipped, even temporarily, with one or more engines whose total power is at least 10 horsepower would not need one.
@@Davidfca1 yes, you need a boating license, even with just a trolling motor. I believe the 10 HP you are mentioning is regarding having to register your boat, not the boat operator card.
Great video Michel! Love seeing Toshi with you! Your politeness and courtesy towards the officers doing their job is commendable! Tight lines my friend!
That is a very good question, since usually, in March, it is ice fishing season. This year however, it is either too dangerous due to the high temperature we got or you are thinking about open water. I have never fished open water in March so I cannot really tell you what worked for me in the past; however, the water is still very cold and the fish are not very reactive most times. So I would go with live minnows, jigging at the bottom, like I would do if there were ice. Good Luck.
Ok. So to make you life a lot easier when your dog come back to the boat after swim. Do not grab handle. Put your hand firmly behing the dogs head he will push his head against your hand. Giving him the ability’s to crawl onto the boat on his own power. Plz try it a couple times
Sweeet ! you guys are awsome. 😀 by the way you have inspired me to purchase a black pack from yakattack =) You are inspiring to much and i might end up with a labrador on my kayak =) , Thank you for you videos.
Glad to see you catch good fish. Awesome. It would be nice if you had a chest angle on the camera. It would be awesome to get a first person view of the doggie and the cast you make. Thank you for the great videos.
@@LeGrandBleuet yes sir. Thank you for the videos. Because of your videos - I have been inspired and purchased a kayak and been having a lovely time fishing. Be well sir.
@@LeGrandBleuet Thank you sir. I saw your video yesterday and was inspired to invite my dad for some afternoon fihsing around rideau river. glad to see Toshi is back on the kayak. Have a good day sir. Great videos like allways.
Murphy’s point provincial park has a boat launch, Right in HOGS BAY, the fishing for bass, panfish, lake trout just out of the bay to the right side is great fishing....5 min from launch, no big waves, not that busy.
I take my dog too, but Toshi is much bigger, Coco is only about 10lbs sometime the fish are bigger then he is lol but he stays in the boa unless he falls out (1 time so far) I'm very excited to be moving to Calabogie april 1st
