The first step worked wonders for me. I used to bite my nails, but then I started cutting my nails short to the point where I had nothing to bite off, and it worked.
100% a habit for me I've been doing it since I was 3 or 4 and never stopped idk why I do it but maybe because I'm bored or some else I really don't know but everytime I grow my nails out long I bite them and I really hate short nails but the longest I've went without biting them was for maybe 4 weeks or a bit longer and I want to permantly stop but even when I'm not biting them I bend my nail and play with it until I break it off and I remember doing that when I had long nails or sometimes I see my nail with a cut on it and instead of filing it I bite or peel it off what the heck is wrong with me and to me its like when 1 nail is short I want all to be short so when 1 was short I just randomly bit them all off what an weird habit for me omg but u haven't tried any of these tips but I'm gonna try

Use ice and take Lysine while you feel it tingling. If the blister clearly has fluid in it, pop it. I know they say not to. But not only will it relieve the pain, it will make it go away faster. Just make sure you use a clean needle and clean the affected area with an alcohol swab. Use ice after for 5-10 mins. Use ice 3x a day, clean area after eating or touching, and apply antibiotic. (my fav is camophine) and take Lysine or ayciclvor (probably spelled wrong)
