@@DIYwithCam actually brand new 40v cordless and maybe same thing on 1+ year gas. Want to put on PivotTrim and they maybe made it harder so you buy their brand new
U can fix that by cutting a plastic sheet to shape after removing the wheels, glueing it to the back w/ a heavy duty adhesive, placing something relatively heavy on top of it, then finally Mount it back on after letting it cure.
Sorry I don't mean to sound rude I'm just pissed. This is probably the best battery operated weed eater I've ever had however I've gone through three of them now because the head will not twist off and using tools only destroys it.
Totally get that it sucks. This thing has been used for years now, and there is no issue with the bump feed welding shut. The green nob is getting hard to turn when rewinding as it's all scuffed up. It also doesn't get any easier to remove ans replace the head.
Yeah but as everybody knows if you use the bumpfeed more than three times it basically welded SHUT!!!, it's impossible to twist. How about giving a video about getting this damn thing to come off but not using a brand new, easy to turn, head.😅
make sure you try and straighten the line as much as possible. You may need to wiggle the line a little to get it through, but it typically goes through with very few issues. If this doesn't work, try turning the ump feed rewind 180 degrees and try again and make sure you have the correct size string.
@@DIYwithCam Yes i'm trying to get all the thatch out my lawn when i use it. It's the reason i bought it and therefore i use weight on it so my lawn grass grows better. I always bag my grass but always have very much thatch in my lawn every spring i do this.
Putting it back is a pain. horrible horrible design. You have to have a big hand to get a grip and it wont move that easily with that spring in place. Once you open it , it just doesnt go back
I would cut as short as possible and wont let it grow over three inch and leave the cut down lawn as fertiliser. That how it has been done here last 30 years. Theres no room for moss when lawn is healthy.
You sure can, but for anyone over 6 feet, you would have to walk around hunched over. That's why the handle is so close to the trigger, so I can use it in a comfortable way.
