I worked in the Kasoa Bulk Supply Point as an expert. Surprisingly, Burkina Faso sent some of it's polytechnic students to learn one or two things. Sadly, no ghanaian institution thought it wise to send their students. Even cable jointers had to be brought in from Dubai and they were mostly Asians. I was the only black expert in the project. I had to abandon my job as a teacher to travel abroad. Worked night shift while attending classes during the day and reached that level in 15 years. So i was contracted by a foreign company to work there. But see, there were no ghanaians for me to transfer my knowledge to. Sad isn't it. Another sad thing is that Ghanaians are interested in doing what they've been doing even if it's wrong. We have a long way to go.
I think they need to make economics a core subject in schools Because it’s tells us a lot about money but we haven’t released it Serious economics studies can testify it
We don't want Mahama or Bahomia, they are not suited for Ghana at this time, Nana Bediako is the man to take Ghana forward, so if we omit this opportunity we are doomed for eternity.
Canada, UK, USA, United Arab Emirates(Dubai) and many other prosperous nations didn't just develop solely on thier own. They imported expertise and they are still doing so. In Dubai, we have Indians, Pakistanis, Philippinos and us Africans working and making the system better. Why do you think all these countries from time to time open certain visa pathways for some professions? Kennedy Agyapong said the same thing. He even cited his steel factory as example that it is Indians who are building the structure. They have been doing these things for long and so it is only good that we tap in thier expertise as we gradually train our own or learn from them.
Nana kwame Bediako is talking about expertise not general employment. They come and impact their knowledge on Ghanaians. Chinese went to Europe and America and brought their knowledge to China
I love the conversation and the analysis made. Nana Kwame Bediako seems to have the formular for Ghana. Now it is the time to demontage the campaign message of NPP and NDC. They have both failed. I hope, Nana Kwame Bediako aka. Cheddar receives at least 20 percent to dictate the president of the future Ghana where he would hold not less than three ministries to change Ghana. The New Force all the way!
C-Real is acting funny. Are you trying to say that some rappers aren't heard or as sucessful as others because they are too skillful or too good? CONCERT..........You're finding it difficult to just say SARKODIE. Mention your favorite and let's move so 3?
What's C-real's problem? The question was clearly seeking everyone's opinion. He had a problem with that. I don't see the problem of seeking everyone's opinion. He says the question isn't clear so he gave two answers. Jay no bore. Then later he says there's no well-defined criteria. Jay makes it easy for him to choose any criteria he deems fit but still stresses that there's no criteria. Contrary to what he had said earlier, he gives an example that Eminem was able to name a rapper that he, Eminem, considers the greatest of all time. So I still couldn't understand why it was impossible for him, C-real, to answer the first question he was asked. On the issue of ranking, no ranking will be agreed upon by everyone so no matter the people behind any ranking, it'll still be their opinion because the criteria used will be their opinion of what matters most
C-Real's frustrations reminds me of an argument i had in a barbering shop with some guys. They were so wrong but would not even listen to for clarity to understand. In the end i ended up shutting up to avoid things getting out of hands. in their minds i had conceded to defeat but in my mind i jxt didn't want the back and forth becos i realised why they wouldn't even give a listening ear to wat i was saying, and 'INADEQUATE EDUCATION' was part of their problem🤷
I get C-real's point so well that i'm even feeling his frustrations that, Jay and Esi couldn't get it.🤦♂. clarity is always important so wen the question is wrong frm the onset, it becomes difficult for the one hu understands the difference to even answer.
Bringing it into your creative art space is where you have missed it, I guess so. To me , I feel he has a valid point, base on the context. He was answering a question concerning foreigners who comes to destroy our lands in sesrch of Gold. He then said he will arrest and make them work for Ghana. Following up he said, he could make good use of foreign expertise, and thats great ! Please lets understand he didnt set the context but, the question did , and he was only responding to it, so it shouldn't be made a point of arguement that may end up discrediting him, though that might not be your intension. Your third panelist is very much on point. Foreigners don't just come, the GIPC law requires they employ not less than 20 ghanaians thus if coming as a body corporate.
nana kwame bediako, is the leader Ghana needs now. All your contributions synced with what N.K.B said about bringing in foreign experts for complex developmental projects.
It’s just a pain in the a** to listen to you guys. No control of the show, no structure whatsoever. This guy, all you have to do is to argue/ debate your points based on a select criteria. That’s an educated debate - and not just repeating „I have a question“ or „I have the facts“ 🙄
Thanks for having the discussions, especially the guy with glasses really understands the nuances. If there is transfer of knowledge then this could be an amazing plan because this is how China built their tomato paste sector by inviting the Italians and learning from them.
You guys literally failed to understand what Cheddar said. You’re thinking so averagely like employees while he’s thinking like an investor. I won’t even waste my time to watch this video.smh
Wow olala and Ro God bless you for talking well on NKB's listening but the foreign people don't what to here us say "we have been used" so you let's focus on the winning first and we will see difference
