Excellent video/info. I read the success rate of lasering a small retinal tear is about 90% if you catch it in time. However, i wonder if those people ever get normal vision back? When they say "success rate" does that mean those people get most or all of their normal vision back? Or is that blurriness they got from the tear permanent even after being treated with laser and tacked done?
I just saw my optomologist because I had the streaks and large black floater but he didn’t see a tear but said I was at high risk so my question is there a time limit if when a detachment can happen?
I had cataract surgery on May 2, 2023 for my right eye. I am now suffering from blurry in my right eye. This is being treated with eye drop medications. I am seeking a consultation with a top level eye surgeon to review my situation and am asking if the Moore Eye can help with this. My name Austin Rattigan
Thanks for making this video and bringing comfort to those who are seeking answers, unfortunately these things aren't taken seriously enough in countries like Australia where the level of support is virtually non existent unless you are a high profile sportsman or a politician.
I have been having massive headaches massive uneasy feelings …. My brain feeling like it’s crushing .. sometimes I get a mini seizure stare or. Sometimes …. A stroke causes me to pass out. It’s been a problem for a few years now this floater is. Large omg I cam fricken nuts help help
I had a pvd last month , no damage to retina but the specialist wants to see me in a few weeks . I have a speck floating from right to left and it’s annoying. I’m hoping the retina stays ok. It’s very unsettling though
sir one question how can a person outside the US and fed up with eye flashes for two yeas could benefit from your services.? I am in Somalia and am impressed with your technology solutions on eyes
I've been seeing flashing lights lately. I'm 44 years old and don't have medical insurance which worries me if I would need laser treatment on my right eye. What is the general cost for treating such case?
@@alex09aries same bro I had been in boxing too But now I took pledge 😂 not to come again Because road fight will also not hurt me so much Rather than a Martial arts class 🥲
I got a tear detected, fortunately on time and before it progressed into detachment, I got laser surgery to seal it off. I’m now recovering and was super scared because I had never seen floaters before. Now I know laser was the best choice to avoid further problems, a simple solution. I hope this will be the end of any retinal problems in my life. Thank you for the video, it’s a very calmed explanation.
I have floaters. I see flashes. I see stars move like firework. I see things like lights on off in my vishon as it's raining or like daffodils. Pls suggest me. I'm 29 years old ..thank you
i have nystagmus in my eye by birth, doctor done the surgery 4 month ago, but now i am facing the nystagmus issue, double vision and quint eye, doctors suggested me some exercises, that exercises helps to reduce the double vision but not correcting the eye alignment
Thanks so much for making this! As a younger patient (early 20s), it puts me at ease actually knowing what’s going on in there. Is it possible to still experience curtaining and flashes after treatment? I just recently had laser treatment and I’m fearful it may not have been effective.
Don’t worry sweetheart, I believe it may take some time to heal and to fully recover vision. Floaters especially do not go away so fast because the vitreous is still detaching but that’s a harmless process. If your tear was treated on time with laser then you are most likely safe.
Many thanks, I have been researching "can eye floaters be a sign of a brain tumor?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Fiyilliam Uncomplicated Formula - (do a google search ) ? It is a good exclusive product for discovering how to stop your eye floaters without the headache. Ive heard some great things about it and my mate got amazing success with it.
this sounds like the gov trying to keep the public from fiding out that this is aserious mold problem of the eye surface . and calling it eye floaters .those black dots your seeing moving across your eye surface. is black mold and it is everywhere and totally out of control.
I was told about 6 years ago by my eye doctor I have a retina tear. But to this day never had any issues, he said I should do the laser treatment. But never did it because I have no symptoms.
@@zcyeo8895 Yeah ill have to go get it doable checked and see if maybe the one eye doc was not correct as everything I read or listen to says you should be having symptoms.
