The fact that 70% of this centralized projects run on chinese servers. You mentioned Bitcoin and ETH so often together but never said that Bitcoin Blockchain has the same features as the ETH Blockchain. NFTs, smart contracts etc. After the Merge everyone knows that PoS is truely Proof of Scam.

Im currently in a UX bootcamp and everything wrong with the execution here, especially the lack of user research (there was no user value in this site existing!), is a perfect example of how far we’ve come in digital product design. 1. In 2008, the US government cut the interest rate "again" to near zero. This helped the highly indebted companies to pay back old debt by new borrowing at "near zero" interest rate. If the US didn't do that, the bankruptcy probability of many companies would be high. 2. VW is a German company. USD is the reserve currency. Every country wants USD during trade with each other. My point is whatever the US does, it has a worldwide effect.
Great video. I have used the Web3 Tutorials (some guy named john) bot and made like $40, using very small amts b/c i instinctively felt it to be a scam, but wanted to see what happened. I searched through the code and can't find a hidden address anywhere for the eth to be sent to and everytime ive withdrawn my eth, its gone right back to Metamask.

@ChrisDaniels, there's another sneaky trick these guys do which is to hash an evm address to a uint160 hex value. So your typical "human-readable" address of 0x123abc now becomes a series of hex values. Ethereum contracts use this, legitimately for storing addresses in a mapping as keys as this will save space compared to storing the full address but these scam artists use this to hide addresses from plain sight. So, what you're looking for in a contract is something that looks like this: modifier onlyOwner() { require(msg.sender == address // solhint-disable-next-line avoid-low-level-calls /*keccak256 -> 218a8ae507c24dbb97d7f2b7dc96120f8c9f4cab74fb4beb800b6ca3d996dee4866a7e256))*/ /**/(910620197996749798764019618383161601416596046417)); _; } What's smart about this is that the "keccack256" part appears to be commented out and that your requiring only your address but actually the dangerous part is just after where the comment ends at the first open bracket, i.e. (9106...). When you remove the comments from this the contract effectively reads like this: modifier onlyOwner() { require(msg.sender == address(910620197996749798764019618383161601416596046417)); _; } And there is the deception. onlyOwner is used in contracts to ensure only the contract owner can make changes to the contract so when you deploy a contract on your address you're effectively giving the scammer full access to your contract to withdraw your funds or manage the contract in whatever way they deem fit. You think that it's using your address as the owner but when you decode that hashed address it will reveal the scam owners address.
