My channel is mostly dominated by mud mower build videos. You will also find tiny houses, trucks, camming, 4X4's, bogging, stucks, burnouts, mud, mowers, tractors, prank, how to's, one of a kind's, etc.
Found the vid. I know it’s old, but when the blades turn forward it’s for aerating. The blades have turned turn in reverse opposite the drive direction for tilling. 2 yrs selling lawn equipment at sears. That’s also why it dumps over.
I wish you had thought to seal the underneath side of the deck, I don't know if it mattered but I would guess that it could get water splashed up under it. How well has held up for you? It looks like it turned out nice. Thanks
Definitely don't want to try that on a new tractor. They put all the important filters tanks and reservoirs under drivers station. Its like manufacturers expect you to only do already cleared land work.
Thanks so much and good luck. I have 4 truck bed trailer build. Maybe check them out for better tip and higher volume. One was a dodge too. Thanks for watching!!
I would love to... Is there any way you can send me a letter or even quicker, venmo me a message. Both address are in the description. That way I won't have to send one to every comment. I throw a couple in an envelope. Thanks for watching!!
@@chud327 yes I think theirs 3 pully in the back and one double stacked pulley that holds the engine drive belt and transmission belt but you have to buy it separately
It is pending currently, hypothetically, you could by the mower and send gas money, then we could meet in the middle, hypothetically.... Thanks for watching!!
Troy's and others are made to go small depths at a time. I'm considering taking my gas pull behind and building a lift for ny deere 420. My troy horse works perfect at my age. Keep up the good work
Thinking bout doing this but never did it before, dude across the road is selling 3 John Deere’s for $120 think it would be worth buying all 3 for parts? Idk if any of them run. But seeing them for sale made me wanna try this out.
IDK, sounds like a fair price and me might even come down a little more. Some people get them and part them out and make more money, if you can your mind on building it. Good luck and thanks for watching.
They are usually so bad, that is how I get them, they usually all go to scrap. I do like to keep brackets and pulleys off of them... Thanks for watching!!
INCREDIBLE PURE GENIUS BRO !!! i am getting a second hand almost new poulan pro in a couple of weeks ,and it has the good ol 17.5 motor i wish there was a way to have it cut and also do what you did ! lol ... i am a darn good inventor , been thinking of a way to have a system where i could switch on the go , easy drop mower deck . imagine a pulley system that you could switch to another pulley with a lever ? . i also been thinking about the horizontal pulley wheel that has a vertical wheel on top as drive system .! . do you know what im talking about ? . when the vertical wheel is close to center , it would be cutting speed , but when you switch to the outside of horizontal wheel , it does what bigger pulley does !!! the wheels have a strong durable rubber edge that doe the gripping , i have seen these on older tillers and old self propelled mowers before and other things .
@@chud327 3 of them on Craigslist in Florida, all under 2500 . Also with the v twin , use a larger lower unit, somewhere in the 50 60 hp range motor will have torque and hp to turn a larger 3 blade prop
My 2008 JD la115 model came with the greaseable spindles. The plastic covers have an access hole in line with the nipples to be able to grease them. Thought that was a useful improvement from JD. Too bad their decks rust so badly Maybe if they were aluminum like some Honda's have.
Able to add grease should be a requirement. I wish they would build the decks out of stainless steel, but then I would have less mud mowers. Thanks for watching!!
