@@MZMotor95 yeah. I brought it to the dealer under warranty, told them and they didn't do shit. They checked clearance and they were all over the place. A couple on minimum and a few almost at maximum. All they did was change cct and oil. It was fine for the first day. I got it to do it again yesterday. I don't care anymore. I will get them done eventually when I have the money.
@@rm25088 you mean they checked valve clearance, found they were all over the place, but did not adjust them towards minimum clearance? Just replaced CCT instead?
Holy crap! If my 2000 FORMULA DELUXE 700 ever started like that I'd think there was something wrong with it! I can run the full charged battery down to nothing before it would start.!
IQ's are good sleds for the age as long as they have the right upgrades like forged pistons, oil pump turned up to 2.5 - 3%, etc. If you have the money I reccommend jumping up to the PRO-RIDE or Axys.
You notice any bending in the back swing arm, like tooth picks looks the same width as the nut that holds the tire on. The Honda cb650r is beefy aluminum.
@@MZMotor95 nice looking but the back swing arm seems not sturdy. And I wondered about taking that plastic off every time you have to change the air filter or plugs, I would worry they would break. Also did you change the supersport tires to touring like the cb650 for extra wear and if so what's the ride difference?
@@greensandbeansgaming1358 Why would you say it looks not sturdy? It's a standard looking swing arm and built to be plenty plenty sturdy. This is a non-issue on all of the big motorcycle brands, so it's a bit of a weird question, but okay. Regard the plastic, that is a bigger risk, yes. Its pretty thin some places but if you are careful you wont break it. These tyres are Michelin Power 5. Really good tyres with awesome grip. 😁👍
This machine was originally just a parts machine for another RMK Assault. When I got that fixed I tried to get this running, which you see I could not. Sold it after that. I think the new owner got it up and running strong, even with 8000 km on the engine. Not sure what the problem was though.
@@edmondmelkonyan749 yes thats true, but not on mine. I checked both and they are fine. You can unplug disa valve to see if the sound goes away. My rattle sound comes from the valve cover at the front left side.
Hi ✌️ Yes, if you ride hard packed trails it can have a n affect on cooling. In powder conditions it does not matter, but I would keep it installed if riding on trails.
This is originally based on a fireplace engine. Mine 1999 is red ( supposedly going faster).😎. -front and back end : new bearings, -upgrated breaking system ( braided with new joints and pistons), - Clean, balanced carburetors, - front and back bearings, - cleaned fuel thank and fuel lines, -put a some under belly pan and rear wheel pan, ... . Anyway, she is a 1999 honda engine 600 Cc. I bought it 3 years ago with 21000 miles for £1300. I've spent £500 on upgrading. Today, 12 months a year. She is 40000 miles. Forget electronics, abs, bs. I driving this Lady as long as I keep it safe and running. I know a bike with 120000 miles on it. OK the engine needed readjusted but 120000 miles later same engine same frame. 🤝🤙🙏🇪🇺🇫🇷
Thats what I'm trying to figure out. My guess is vanos, but not sure yet. Sounds like its coming from valve cover in the front, so vanos would be my best guess

You cant just put on the lights on the original tail. You need a full tail tidy from Ermax. You can buy the shotgun lights from Ermax as well. It's expensive, but it looks very good.
Hows the ssi head? I was thinking about doing the ssi head and pipe to match my can already but cannot find any reviews on that set up. So considering slp full system, head, clutching, programmer and different intake.
It's been on this sled for around 1000 km now, I think. Imo its been good. Wether it increase the HP or not, I'm not too sure. Maybe 3-4 HP, but not much more. It's got larger cooling channels, so it helps to keep your sled cool, which is a good thing of course. Im not a fan of cans on snowmobiles as I prefer them as quiet as possible, but I must say it sounds bad ass with the SLP pipe and can. 😊
Wonderful to see my old tractor get a "new" life. Got it brand new (actually the only tractor I have bought brand new) out of the dealership in Mosjøen in 1998 a year after I took over the farm. It had to go for a more modern and more powerful 6455 in 2015. Good luck and it seems to be in the best hands.
After couple of hundred hours of restoring and maintenance this machine is ready for a calm life on our farm 👍 Its been great for snowclearing this winter. Maybe a little bit big for us, but we really like this tractor 😊
Thanks a lot! ☺️ I used to have bar end mirrors on my previous bike, they look good but I prefer "normal" mirrors to get a good view of whats behind me.
I love everything about this bike, even that starter is such a great small detail, I am saving for it, but it will take some time, but it hopefully will be mine in the future.
