Do like 8 major festival appearances yearly. Ton of money, have fun, fans happy, maybe the other band members a lil happy too. There Will be a reunion one-day, always is.
I gave up hope for a new SOAD album years ago. While it's a massive shame, I'm at least glad there's no more bad blood between in band anymore. I just wish they would come to my neck of Canada lol. But that probably won't happen. Still glad the band is a thing, even if very limited these days.
In my opinion, this world is suffering due to lack of System of. Adown. Yes, everyone is great on their own but for some reason, when these 4 get together for music, absolute magic is created. Maybe therapists or hell, why not trek off with Bear Grylls or get out of LA and everyones home bases and take a trip togethet with some healers, no expectations, just all get together and go back to the beginning .... connect, create, see what happens, leave the ego out and let the spirits in .... ❤ Far too many bands have lost members and i do NOT want this to happen to SOAD ... also. Can you imagine the impact their music could have on younger generations who need those songs to give them hope or express their inner world of sadness after being bullied at school, or not feeling understood, wanting to harm self or others, i feel strongly that system reaches people on cosmic levels and saves so many and unites people world wide. They are all great artists on their own but its like something rare and a beautiful monster of its own that really taps into and expresses the world soul, and i wish i could take them all on an extensive therapy session rock style and let them get back to their roots away from all of their comforts for a minute, see these newer bands coming out, get inspired and see if they still have what it takes.... i know they do deep down ....
@@DiSCERiTY Then it would be SOAD lol. Honestly, most of the Scars songs fit to be SOAD and I can say the same for Serj's solo work. Most of Serj's solo music would work if the band decided to go on a different path, modern sounding System Of A Down.
@@kyleserj4127 would it tho? I think to me, a "true" SOAD song is one where Daron and Serj both wrote. Lonely Day is basically a Scars song to me. that's why scars isn't as well liked as SOAD, bc if Serjs backup vocals is all is needed to make SOAD, then scars should have had no problem making songs as hard hitting as SOAD did. I also don't know why vocals dictate what is SOAD and what isn't. so adding John's drumming doesn't make it SOAD, but adding Serj's vocals immediately does? but it doesnt matter tbh... they're just labels anyways... it won't hurt anybody if Serj did backup vocals for a song or two on Darons work or if Daron did backup on serjs stuff. Just call it SOAD or not, I don't care, I just want to hear their voice together again.
