@@928studiosinc06 But parents do go to see movies, and don't want to leave the kids home alone, so this one is a compromise - - but, yes, they took all the 'delicious' out of Dracula, and made him 'acceptable' to goody-two-shoes
I figured that since Batman is extremely well known, taking a crack at this type of story first would make a bit more sense. My adaptation of that story would be heavily watered down (as you probably heard), and would be easier to follow. However, I am genuinely curious at what story you would've chosen for the first Batman film (based on where in his career I'm choosing to follow him from).
@@928studiosinc06 Well, that's the thing. I wouldn't choose to follow him from this point in his career for the first movie. I think Batman: Year One or even Batman: Earth One is a better model for the first movie. Especially since you are suggesting that Supes is early in his career. Quite frankly, I like what Matt Reeves did with The Batman. I object to Pattinson's Batman occupying its own universe outside of the new DC cinematic universe. True, The Batman is dark and gritty, but he could lighten up a bit as he matured, eventually joining Corenswet's Superman. I think it could work, if enough smart people joined forces. Knightfall is, however, a good idea for maybe the third movie. For the second movie, I'd suggest The Killing Joke or Batman Reborn (Grant Morrison's run) as a model.
@@HalJordan-i2k Batman's story in my timeline is some of his later stories (Knightfall, Hush, Red Hood, and City of Fear). I do respect your opinion tho, and thank you for watching.
If the DCEU took inspiration from the DCAU we wouldn't be talking about the MCU today. The DCAU is hands down the peak of comic book adaptations. The movies can't compare to those legendary shows. I wasn't a fan of the Snyderverse but at least Snyder had a vision. It was a bad vision but it was a vision nonetheless. Warner Brothers is always doing DC dirty. First the DCEU now Flop Squad. When will Warner Brothers get it together?
@@928studiosinc06 Like I didn't agree with Snyder's take on DC but at least he had a vision. Warner Brothers should've just let him do his thing. It's like Warner Brothers is trying their hardest to ruin DC's legacy.
@@callmejacob3234 Warner Bros. doesn't care about making a good movie. Their only priority is the money at the end of the tunnel, and the merchandise, which is why movies like Batman and Robin exist. Hopefully, James Gunn breaks that streak.
For me I will start with Batman, Year one, adapting Jhon Byrne´s Man of Steel miniseries, an origin for Hal Jordan like First Fligh, adaptin George Perez´s Wonder Woman with a few changes to include Donna, after that a retrospective Infinte Inc (to include JSA and a young Ted Kord as a member, I know he never has been, but I think is the perfect place for a kind of Legacy character and of course Star Girl, though I will adapt the time the JSA was lost in the limbo to place Infinite inc in the early 2000 or 2010), I need them an origin Story for Green Arrow and Dinah (also as tje second Black Canary), then a JL movie, followed by Flash, Aquaman and Shazam movies and then a Teen Titans (wher Dick separate from Batman and the debut of Starfire), a Blue beetle movie, a GL adapting the Omega men (Team up with Starfire)
I could've started fresh with a young Batman and Year One (that was the original idea), but I think that we don't tend to start off with Batman in his prime as he joins the Justice League. It's either he's old and beaten down, or he's around the same age as the others. Making him in his prime and being slightly older and more experienced than Superman, the Flash, Green Lantern, and so on and so forth leads to a lot of interesting interactions. Other than that, your viewpoint of how to adapt these characters is excellent, and I have no complaints. Again, thank you for tuning in. Much appreciated.
You know that the main problem of CW were money and the changing orders from WB, anyway I love Stargirl and Black Lightning, besides Arrow and Flash... and totally LOVE Young Justice, but I get you, and you nailed wtith the criticism about DCAMU, the new 52 was horrible except maybe for Aquaman and the GL
I am aware of WB's mandates and the money problems with the CW, but it's freaking Warner Brothers at the same time. They can afford to put money into their television division. At the same time, however, their main priority was the movie side of the equation, so I'm not totally surprised. The New 52 was one of the things I didn't want to pay attention to entirely, because, like I said, it sucks. There are only a few ideas (including an Aquaman sequel which is about war with the Trench), as well as Grodd's connection to the Speed Force, but that's it. Thanks for tuning in.
DC movie universe: The apocalypse saga (5:32) Part 1: rise of the heroes: (5:41) Superman: heroes of metropolis (8:45) Batman: knight fall (12:07) the legend of wonder woman (14:39) green lantern: intergalactic police force (16:17) The flash (18:15) Aquaman: king of Atlantis (20:01) Superman 2: brainiac (22:17) Superman/Batman: world's finest (23:11) justice league of America
The DCEU could’ve had their cake and eat it if they had been more focused after Man of Steel, like it makes sense that they would want to introduce characters quickly and release a Justice League movie to compete with the MCU and one big advantage they had was that their character were more recognisable. The release should have been: Man of Steel (2013) World’s Finest (2015) The Trinity (2016) Justice League (2017) Introducing Batman in the Man of Steel sequel wasn’t a bad idea, we had just finished the Dark Knight trilogy so movie goers had a general idea of what Batman’s about, the problem was trying to make it a Batman vs Superman movie which was a dumb idea only made worse by shoehorning Wonder Woman and the Death of Superman. What the plot should’ve been is that Batman and Superman would have to team up to defeat Lex and the Joker, the movie should’ve focused on the dynamics between the heroes and the villains. The Trinity would act as a Wonder Woman origin story set in the modern day as Ares plans to throw the world into an eternal war and Wonder Woman joins forces with Batman and Superman to stop him. And Justice League would be about stopping Darkseid’s invasion with the Trinity recruiting other heroes to help defend the earth. This is just a basic outline but if the DCEU had followed this basic structure they could’ve easily used it as a foundation to launch solo movies and sequels. And to be honest they could’ve started a lot sooner if they had the foresight to use Batman Begins and Superman Returns as the foundation of a cinematic universe instead, then they would’ve had plenty of time to introduce each League member in their own sole movie before the crossover event with the Justice League and could’ve actually beaten Marvel to the punch.
I agree. The original idea was actually meant to include a Dark Knight Returns like story from Snyder, but WB forced him to combine the Man of Steel sequel with Batman. Also, it doesn’t help that they tried to introduce the SS before the Justice League. The DCEU should’ve been amazing, but it wasn’t.
I'm pretty sure DC does not fully own the live action TV rights to a caped Batman. That's why in live action, he is rarely seen with the cape and cowl for an extended period of time
My DC cinematic universe if the DCEU never existed would probably be, Batman, Superman, Flash, Green Lantern, and wonder, woman. All phase one movies leading to a justice league movie. While, phase 2 will have Batman two Superman two, Shazam, blue beetle, and wonder, woman two. End phase to of with a Justice league two. The phase 3 will introduce the JSA, Legends, Batman, three, suicide squad, and young Justice, leading interior crisis on two earths event. Following that phase four would be on a perpetual decline.
Several comics. Batman: Knightfall, Superman Secret Origins, JLA New World Order, and several others. Some are just comic screen shots, but next episode will be a lot more clear.
I never understood why DC didn't jump on Marvel's bandwagon and made their own counterpart to the MCU. Considering how popular it was before Disney suddenly decided to ruin it. It could have rivaled the MCU, and maybe even been better if done correctly. I love Marvel, but I like DC even more. Green Lantern is my all times favorite Superhero and I would love to see him (Hal Jordan specifically), as well as the other Lantern Corps in a movie series/TV Show. Here is hoping we get that one day.
Honestly, it baffles me why Warner Brothers doesn't trust the creatives to make good adaptations of these characters. James Gunn seems to be the only one they are letting do this, but talented creators get their power taken away from them. Zack Snyder (despite his lack of understanding of these characters) at least had a vision, and WB took it from him. People like Matthew Vaughn and Christopher McQuarrie wanted to make a Superman movie, and WB didn't let them. These are also people that forced Batman to go from dark and serious to light and goofy in the 1990s. People like The Black Lion, Super Frame, and now myself gave our own takes because we're tired of that. I wanted to have my own MCU based on the characters I know, actively study and read about, and freaking love, hence why I wrote this massive plan. Also, I'm a big fan of Green Lantern: The Animated Series, as well as Green Lantern First Flight in regards to Hal Jordan, but I'm a bigger John Stewart fan (especially because of Justice League: The Animated Series). I'm excited to see Hal and John be foil characters to one another in the Lanterns show.
I love Marvel and DC equally and it saddens me that DC hasn't had luck in the cinematic universe department. DC is full of amazing stories and brilliant characters and it sucks Warner Brothers can't give us a good DC Cinematic Universe.

AQUAMAN: KING OF ATLANTIS The plot would be a bit like The Little Mermaid, with Arthur being sick of life in Atlantis and deciding to go to the surface world, giving his brother Orm the chance to take over as king, shenanigans ensue, Arthur is able to defeat Orm with the assistance of Kaldhur'am/Aqualad and returns to his role as King of Atlantis. THE FLASH: FASTEST MAN ALIVE Focuses on Barry Allen as the Flash as he takes on the Rogues, fairly simple plot, but much better than the later seasons of the TV series and the GOD-AWFUL 2023 film. In the DC comics, there is a character named Lucifer Morningstar, and I immediately made the connection between DC Lucifer Morningstar and HH Lucifer Morningstar, and here we are. Anyways, this would actually be a movie taking place after the events of both the post-credits scene for Wonder Woman and the HH pilot. The plot would revolve around Sir Pentious returning for revenge on Alastor, he ends up kidnapping Charlie after discovering Alastor has feelings for her (yes, I'm a Charlastor shipper), leaving Alastor, Angel Dust, Husk, Niffty and Vaggie (with assistance from Cherri Bomb) to have to rescue her. Lucifer also plays a small but major role in the film, as he shows up at the end to aid Alastor in taking on Sir Pentious. JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA The film features the Justice League (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash, Martian Manhunter and Alastor) taking on the Legion of Doom (Lex Luthor, Riddler, Cheetah, Ocean Master, Captain Cold, Ma'alefa'ak and Bizarro) who have captured Charlie and plan to use her hellish powers to create an ellixhar that will turn the entirety of mankind into obedient slaves. In the end, the League defeat the Legion, rescue Charlie and establish the Hall of Justice CAST: David Corenswet as Kal-El/Clark Kent/Superman and Bizarro Nicolas Hoult as Lex Luthor Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman Paul Dano as Edward Letter/The Riddler Cobie Smoulders as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman Kristen Wiig as Barbara Minerva/Cheetah Ryan Gosling as Arthur Curry/Aquaman Martin Short as Orm/Ocean Master Charlie Rowe as Barry Allen/The Flash Nick Merrico as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold Keith David as J'onn J'onnz/Martian Manhunter Carl Lumbly as Ma'alefa'ak Edward Bosco as Alastor Jill Harris as Charlie Magne Rachel Broshanan as Lois Lane Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen Kurtwood Smith as Perry White Jeremy Maguire as Dick Grayson/Robin Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Steve Trevor Emillia Clarke as Mera Chosen Jacobs as Kaldhur'am/Aqualad Madeline Carroll as Iris West Anthony Starr as Harrison Wells Michael Kovach as Angel Dust Mick Lauer as Husk Michelle Marie as Niffty Monica Franco as Vaggie Krystal Laporte as Cherri Bomb Will Stamper as Sir Pentious Faye Mata as Katie Killjoy Joshua Tomar as Tom Trench Mid-Credits Scene: Dick and Kaldhur'Am discuss putting together their own team. Post-Credits Scene: Lucifer, angered by the Legion's failure, decides to send out a new team, as we see him open a portal to Earth-3. And that's Phase 1.
Oh my god, this is a great video, or that I would say if the music wasn't 3 times louder than the actual commentating and the mic didn't explode every 5 seconds, please, lower the sensitivity of your microphone. Apart from that, pretty good in everything from script to editing, keep it up
As a matter of fact, I want you to hear my voice, LOL! That’s the whole point. If you want a music video, just watch any other content creator who does that. Common sense, bruv. Thanks for tuning in.
