The fish is actually mackerel, not sardines. The liver pâté is made of pig's liver. Smash is just a chocolate covered Bugle (a corn chip). The licorice you got seems to be the sweet and tasteless kind, which honestly I think he did you a disservice. I'd say most people in Norway who like licorice, prefer the salty kind with salmiak powder. The one you got is incredibly bland. Kvikk Lunsj is literally just pronounced "Quick Lunch". Daim is actually a bar of chocolate covered almond caramel, but Freia likes to make everything in roll form, so what you got is milk chocolate with almond caramel bits. And lastly the Hansa Mango IPA is, imo, not as good as Frydenlund Juicy IPA. They are both mango IPAs, but Frydenlund's is much more balanced and not as harsh. Ask your friend for a Juicy IPA instead.
hi thank you for your video its very helping :) i wanted to know if you know how can i open a bank account - im doing a relocation on August and want to come ready with all the pperwork. im an EU citizenship but im israeli and i live in israel .
I live in Greece and I don't resonate with it as I'm from the UK and yes the vat is slightly less, but I don't know anyone that earns the salary you mention. I'm sure you're correct wirh regards to your social circle, but you can earn more if you have a profession or live on a popular island like mykonos and work in the service sector. Obviously this is your channel and your perspective, but I love living here. The thing abuut the environment is 100% correct. Peoole don't recycle, and they throw their cigarette butt's and trash on the beach. I lived in Brazil for many years and nobody treated the beach like I see here. Anyway, it's a wonderful place to live, if you live on an island.
cats love liver paste. Have been eating it all the time. With cucumber and or without mayonnaise. But you have it on a slice of bread. hearty food that most Norwegians have grown up with. That and mackerel in tomato. Greetings from Norway. 😀
"Cheers" is "Skål" in Norwegian. IPA is my favourite beer type, and Fruity IPA from Frydenlund is much better than Hansa Mango IPA (I usually dislike fruity alcohol very much but these are exceptions) Most people further North like things to have more taste, at least once we get older (edit: and colder) Corona and Sol and that stuff is just stale water (to put it nicely) for me and many others 😅 Only girls tend to drink it here even when teenagers. So both climate and culture surely has some influence. Not all IPAs have fruitiness to them. I also like some Weissbeer and original Pilsner or equivalents (if it's really hot outside).
Since many tastes are influenced by associations; there's no "Cheetos" in Smash, it's normal corn crisps clad in milk chocolate. No cheese or powder like Cheetos has
Both Leverpostei and Mackerel (in tomato sauce) is great with pepper or lemon pepper, and mayonnaise or siracha. I personally do not use butter with them, and some people like pickled cucumbers instead (at least with Leverpostei). You can also have ground whole peppers and the cucumbers together with the Leverpostei. It's a condiment ("pålegg"; a slightly different Norwegian word usually used in the same context)
3:41 LOL your cat! I'm Norwegian, used to have a cat as a kid/young adult. He *LOVED* Leverpostei. It's probably a delicacy treat for most cats (and the Mackerel as well) and you just opened both lol. Good luck getting him/her away now 😂
the Owl cheesedoodles and Pågen grifflar is origin from Sweden, and also the Daim(its caramel covered in chocolate). the one you tasted was grains of daim caramel inside norwegian milk chocolate
You might be eligible for a resident permit, but from a fast Google search it looks like that it might depend on the value of the house. In any case you should contact the Greek embassy in the country you live in.
@GetawayJamie i understand. But there are many drie cheese snacks. I always say that if its not in the fridge in the supermarket it ok. Most often they are found with the chips and nuts.
Thank you for you video. I want to visit Kavala next year with my husband. I want to look at the Egean sea from the old town and maybe see Mt. Athos. Also I want to eat greek food again!
You should have brought some cheesy or salty snacks, especially for the dude on the left. I think he might like the more salty and cheesy snacks. Still, god job guys!
Maquerel in tomato sauce, should be eaten on a slice of bread. And taste better with a little bit salt and pepper on top. I often use a little bit mayo, and ketchup. Liverpaste are also better, with a little bit mayo. And fresh, or pickled cucumber.
gevulde means filled, and the pronounciation of the word koeken is like cookies (which comes from koeken and means cookies) oo's are pronounced like oa in the word road. and the ij is pronounced like the word eye. there are no peanuts in the bokkepootjes the nuts are almonds
