Try the fisheagle hunt lures from Glasgow angling centre, exact same shape and style as the seeker but half the price. I've found bass like these and had 3 bass in 20 minutes on one
Do you find that sometimes fishing lures will catch a fish and then Sometimes live bait works only. Thanks for your videos they are great inspiration. As regards getting out 200 metres i am thinking of getting a drone to drop the bait offshore
Epic catch man really enjoyed watching this,i bought a Remington field kit for salmon last year,im also hoping to catch my first salmon on the fly some time.Did you set drag on that reel for that fight,what type of a leader did you use on that rod,you looked like you were beat with that fight at the end only your man rescued you with the net,legendary stuff here.
@@squaretops1 had the drag set loose prior and adjusted to match the fight of the fish as it went on, used a 10lb maxima leader and let it fight for long didn’t want to bully it in on a light leader for such powerful fish
, my old man in his 80s loves fishing. We tried many places around sligo both fresh water and shore but never caught anything. We been to Easkey peir as well but no luck. We are beginer though. Tried vatvh conger eel with maackeral as bait. Can you point out a couple of places where we can catch any eadble fish please with catching technique.
Like the commenta said these are like the worst reels on temu, and if u just cleaned and re-greased them after use. And another thing some of these reels come with fake plastic bearings which arent has smooth but dont rust.

We can but it means everybody has to buy into it government, co councils, planing authorities, irish water, farmers, industry,commercial fishing/anglers, nature lovers and every citizen but it is still possible with a bit of goodwill

@ChainsawSquirrel is 100% correct. You have been buying the same stuff for years. It just had someone elses branding on it. I worked in the uk tackle trade for years so I have a good idea where certain items come from. I've had exactly the same thing happen with a cheap daiwa multiplier, a daiwa freespool reel, 2 okumas. I've had one MAP that built up all the line at the front of the spool and the rear of the spool didn't have a single coil of line. I've had similar issues with wychwood (also leeda/map) and the same reel also ceased up. The pinion drive pin broke off one of my expensive shimano's. The truth is they are all shxt. The engineering is imperfect on pretty much all modern reels. Having said that my smoothest, best performing reel (out of about 50) was just £22 off AliExpress. Others are correct about washing reels after sw use....no matter what it says about them being suitable for saltwater.
Legal on rivers to this day, they don’t gut hook themselves like worm, always in the roof of mouth, should bring it up with your local representative instead of commenting here, you’re probably still eating supermarket salmon only if there was as much outrage over salmon farming and wider issues they’re wouldn’t be such a decline 🥲🥲🥲
Temu fishing reels are good if your careful and read descriptions and reviews carefully, but there are some really shitty reels on there.. the best quality reels I've bought on temu and aliexpress is Haut ton reels. Ive bought 20 reels on the two sites.. had only one that was mediocore at best and that was from outop, the haut ton reels have been work horses. Ive fished them daily for over a year on two of them, dont blame all of temu for crappy reels
I buy their lures if they can make them and ship them across the ocean for like 1-5$ then there’s no reason these companies here gotta be so expensive. P.s I bought a reel from temu for like 15$ and it lasted about 9 months which isn’t bad.
